This will be my last post on CRT. I tried to be patient and hoped the board would go back to normal, but there's only so much a person can take. It's unbearable. If the new owner decide to pony up the dough to bring the forum functionality (speed) back to where it should be, let me know. If that happens, can somebody PM me (I won't be nresing the forum, but I get email PM alerts)

It has been fun! See you in CR.

Edit: I thought about it and it's not fair to the guys in the football pick 'em pool for me to drop out mid-season so I will continue running the pool and finish it. But that's the only thread I will read or post in. I will read PM's.

Sorry to hear this amigo..

Bailing on the Handicapper ? , 2 1/2 pages a week really taking that long ?

Chrome is running a tad slow but nothing that would stop me from coming in once in a while and check things out, play in your Handicapper, etc.

I do not have the time to run the league. But really sorry to hear this.. You will be missed

Admins, upgrade your hosting plan, get a dedicated server, do what you gotta do or Orange won't be the only one saying adios. Remember that your advertisers are paying for our eyeballs, even guys who aren't VIPs add to your bottom line because we are active forum users and see those sponsor ad banners...and you're about to lose two more eyeballs if you don't unfuck the server responsiveness, because it is seriously phucked. Mis consejos socios.

Was horrible today, hours at a time waiting for a PM I was waiting for. First time no speed for me, but whatever it is that's messed up with CRT, it hit my server or my system today.

i couldn't take it today either. i have been bitching along w everyone else about the speed but today was just over the top.
i figured the speed would slow when the photos were added but not like this. this is seriously frustrating. if you do not fix this soon people are just going to figure you don't give a Phuck.
are you listening at all? do you give a Phuck?

While I was watching the late ncaa games, I look up at the clock and its 12:01, shit never put my picks in.....dont feel so bad now.... To bad to lose orange over this......really as for me its more about the lack of posts about girls and trip reports that have made the site less of what it was......
The site has turned into a running ad for mona lisa, what is the next all you can eat, and getting a ride to the sportmen or jaco.
For info I go to ISG now for other parts of the world as far as Costa Rica very little on ISG but maybe now it will improve.

Sorry to those who are in the CRT NFL challenge, but I won't be doing that any longer either.

Orange "The Big E"

Re-think this after the weekend. The Football Handicap guys are counting on you. You have made your point it is just too damn aggravating. I will consider pulling my sponsorship with the powers that be in CRT to see if this can finally be resolved this week!

But Orange you cant go!!!

Orange, please stay with us for a while longer. We like to help you when we can ---- in return for the invaluable help that you have given to us.

If True Sportsman can't get the lagging problem solved, then there's no hope for us. Thanks, Bill, for your support on this. You've always been a "class act."

If the powers-to-be don't come out of the silent woodwork on this now, IMHO they're sadder than even I believed. But there's hope.

They were silent for many months on our missing VIP Gallery. Then ----waalllaaaaa---, after one more acerbic comment about the missing gallery, it suddenly reappeared.

The Admins need to listen and respond to those of us who pay the freight for CRT, especially to True Sportsman.

Sorry to see you go. As you see, I always direct the new guys to your excellent primer post "CR for Dummies".

I know you are not bluffing either. You won't be back for sure and that's our loss.

And this morning it's creeping again. Not my internet connection, connecting with all my other sites are normal.

For me at least it's a little faster than last night. But still very slow... Unacceptably slow.

A ton of guys stopped posting after the ownership change for various reasons, the speed issue is the latest annoyance. On my end it takes 10 times longer to read or post so why bother... Don't know who the new owners are but the forum practically ran itself, all they had to do was leave it alone. I've taken 2 trips since but posted the reports w/pics elsewhere, PM if interested in reading them.
