Can you make it there and back from San Jose in one day via bus? What was your experience? |

I've always wanted to try this one. The tricky part is getting on the ferry back to Los Chiles in the same day, but I do believe it is doable. There is a direct bus to Los Chiles from San Jose I believe. Pending you get the ferry back from San Carlos, Nica. you could easily take a bus from Los Chiles to San Carlos and then from there back to San Jose as there should be buses running every hour until like 10pm or something. Would definitely be a long day! |

Nice direct video explaining the process. Still would like to know from where the bus leaves, etc. From afar it seems kind of nebulous, but it looks like the kind of thing where you can get there and muddle through. |
