http://www.cnn.com/2013/06/21/opinion/o ... ?hpt=hp_t4 Puts things a little in perspective. For us mongerers, IMHO, it means get out there and take those trips around the world now instead of procrastinating. Have a Great Day, Dave |

Always good to be reminded that life is finite; and the implications of that. For some it might mean take that trip NOW, to others it might mean letting go of a job you hate and taking the risk to do something else. For others, letting go of a relationship that has not worked for some time. Others may wish to reconnect to those with whom they have been estranged. Thanks for the reminder. Think I will stop reading and give the dog a good petting. |

To me it meant getting the hell out of the rave scene where i wasted the last 7 years unsuccessfully trying to score chicks and getting made fun of by them and going back to mongering.I got 100% success doing that way just make a call and tell her when i,ll be over.As a matter of fact i go to the latina chica places in NYC that should get me ready for my upcoming trips to CR and Medellin. Also the French Canadian chicks in Montreal are great too. Also to the person who told me i,ll be forever turned off by the bs of gringas upon my return from my trip-i am already turned off to the max from not only gringas but also others in the rave scene here in Rockland county NY-a bunch of drugged out assholes. Can,t wait to use the free phone service to the USA offered by the hotel i,m staying at in CR to call allof them long distance and tell them what i think of them, ditto when i arrive in Medellin even though i,ll have to pay for calls then! |

It,s a little off topic for this thread but i posted with no response yet in another area about perpetual tourism. Is it as easy as i read-just leave CR to another country for a few hours and return every 90 days. Also can that be done in Columbia,i see a few Americans has been living there also that are on this board.thanks |

At the end of your life, if you haven't done all that is important to you, the only one you have to blame is yourself. Work is important. It gives you the opportunity to accomplish something that may be important. The time you spend there is a trade off for other things you may need in life, relationships and caring for yourself. I never expected much from work. I am not smart enough to cure cancer, feed the world, end poverty. Nothing I have done is significant enough that I could not easily have been replaced except my little guide service. I work to get money to enjoy the things that are important to me, time with and the ability to help family and friends. Money to enjoy the things I like to do for recreation, sex, travel, dine out, hunt and fish. The guide service was not work, it was fun. I was getting paid to do the things I enjoyed. The tours were a success because I wasn't trying to make money only to help people have a good time. I took dozens of people out without compensation just to try to help them enjoy themselves. I wanted everyone who came here to have the vacation of their lives. Doing this I have made several exceptional friends. I remember my first trip to Costa Rica. I found CRT on the internet and from the posts, gained the courage to take the adventure. I stayed at the Sportsman's Lodge. I did Zona Blue, the Del Rey and the girls at the Sportsman's. In ten days I went with 6 or seven girls. No 10s, a couple 5s, mostly 6s and 7s. First trip to the Rey was a disaster. My wingman from the Sportsman's took me there, grabbed a girl in the first 5 minutes and left. I took a Russian girl, first and last I will ever take. Looks 6, performance 5. I was uncomfortable venturing out of the Sportsman's. Talked a girl at Zona Blue into going to Jaco with me for a couple of nights. Stayed at the Copacabana. I had a great time. The girl was Adriana. She was the best I had on that trip and still the best 7 years later. I modeled my tours on what I would have wanted from the ideal wingman. Showing me around safely. Suggesting fun things to do but not imposing an itinerary. Introducing me to 10s not just in looks but in performance. In order to guide people around, I had to acquaint myself with the scene. I had to get to know women first hand. Not always easy to do when you are shy and have never been a party person. Costa Rica has been one of my opportunities to smell the roses. Should I die tomorrow, this time has been special. |
