Anybody know how Kolbi handles MMS and SMS to CR via ATT?

Post subject:  Anybody know how Kolbi handles MMS and SMS to CR via ATT?
She says they are arriving on her phone as a blank page. Anyone been sending mms to Kobi via ATT? Anyone know how Kolbi treats incoming ATT combined sms and mms texts?

4g to her 3g make any difference?

How does Kolbi calculate size on a mms. I can send a 160 character sms as 1 message but I don't know how mms works into that equation. ATT tells me 160 character is one sms and an attached foto counts for another, but how does Kobi deal with that?

I don't know the answer to your question, but you might want to look into using Whatsapp instead of using international MMS/SMS.

As long as you both have an iPhone, Android, or Windows Phone, you'll be able to text/MMS internationally for free, and there's no issues with sending or receiving pictures, audio files, or attachments.

I would add another strong recommendation for Whatsapp, most of the girls seem to use it, and it is free messaging which beats international text message rates any day.

I was down last month, and used a kolbi sim card in my unlocked att galaxy 3. My experience was text messages went through fine, but I couldnt send pics back via sms for some reason. for what it's worth, your mileage may vary

and similar my issue, but I am talking about usa att to cr, att says kolbi problem, ICE says USA problem

Ah yeh sorry, didn't read it right. Since the Kolbi APN settings were set automatically by the SIM card, I would guess that the companies don't have an agreement to forward sms due to not coming to an agreement on the sharing of the fees. This is fairly common between foreign telecoms, some won't even pass on simple text messages between each other.

They are getting my sms from USA (AT&T) not mms. Chatted with ICE on line, says mms should go thru. Only sending 1 foto at a time, small sized, not working.
