CR has been active in the past months signing free trade agreements. No more import tax on many items. China, Peru, Columbia and more countries. June 1, The Peru FTA came into affect.
This FTA includes concessional access to the Peruvian market for Costa Rican products such as meat, palm, palm oil, chocolate and cocoa and tea. Peru would enter duty free products such as asparagus, olives, oranges and tangerines, grapes , cocoa products, textiles, jewelry and precious metals, among others .

Hope so for my gringo friends who live in CR. Everyone, including the putas and Ticos complain about the prices of things.

What's to guarantee that merchants will actually pass on the cost savings to consumers? Remember, you are dealing with MUY TICO! :lol:

Eventually, one hopes that competitive forces brings an equilibrium to the market, but who knows, it hasn't for pu*sy. :lol: :lol: :lol:
