Thinking of going to Drake Bay in about a week (May 30th) for a week. ...I want to do a lot of outdoor activities. Is there anybody here who really knows that area (or lives in that area) that can tell me what to expect as far as the rain goes?

Don't worry about it. Even when it rains, it's usually for only a couple of hours in the afternoon. I've been told by guides while hiking Corcovado that the chances of seeing more animals is greater during the rainy season. BTW, it can rain any time of the year on the Osa Peninsula.
