I've only been to CR in Sept/October. Planning to bring 3 others who have never been in either April or May. Maybe stupid question, but any suggestions on which might be better. I also had someone tell me that the bars, clubs, etc. are closed and no alchohol served around Easter? Is this true, or just rumor?

Thanks!

Sadly it is true, alcohol is not available (legally) from Holy Thursday to Easter Sunday.

I would have to pick April. Why? BECAUSE IT COMES BEFORE MAY!

In the good old days the Park Hotel was one of the only places in SJO that you could brews and babes. Thank God for Bill Bullock and the Park.

Otherwise, Unless tu hables Espanol olvidase y busca otra lugar para disfrutar su semana de resurection.

And that's all I have to say on that...

How can you say that with a straight face? Bill Bullock is the reason the Park is no more.
