To anybody that can answer,

Where can I find a place that sells sim chips that I can use in my 1800
band cell phone? In Costa Rica.

Thanks in advance for any help.

:) :) :)
I spoke to ATT wireless last night and I don't have to do anything EXCEPT
sign up for their International Connectivity plan.

Very complicated issue since there is a "shortage" of GSM lines in Costa Rica.

Right now you can only buy a line from another owner, or rent a chip/line from someone. The monopolisitic Telcom system here is still living in the dark ages...a sham really on the international competitive perspective. Probably wont have more lines for many months to come. There ARE rental services available in the papers and online. Good luck...

I have no clue.. but I have currently all the responses on this board so I had to ph*ck with U2.. Bueno suerte, I am going to the fridge for beer! Unfortunatly it is not an Imperial...

Has anyone else heard the story about the CR national brewery (where all beers are made) being purchased in 1946 by Aleman nationals with gold fillings?
