I was told that there is a factory in CR that makes kayaks. Supposedly great price and fine quality. Anyone have info? |

Max, I've been to a factory that is not far from the airport. The kayaks in CR are the entry level plastic sit-on-top types. Unfortunately they don't have any high end fiberglass British style boats. PM me if you more info. I've done lots of kayak expeditions mostly in BC, Canada. |

There was this dude that had set up shop in Dominical named "Kayak Joe" whom offered shoreline kayaking to the local sea caves (Playa Ventanas). He had several choices of Kayak, and the experience included the consumption of his special "tea". The "tea" was laced with magic mushrooms which made for a unique CR experience. A few years back Joe blew his brains out with a 357 mag while in a coked-up stupor. I still miss him. |
