First of all would like to thank all for info on hotel choice. Changed from Best Western to Presidente on advice posted.

Next question. Will I be able to tell the BM regulars from the semi-pros. From my readings posted here I am getting the impression the hard core BM Ticas are rather menchanical. Not looking for undying love from my trip but would like to experience the GFE so many post about.

Counting the days to my first BM experience (31 days), better yet 744 hours. Expecting my first tica experience in 746 hours!!!!!!!!!!

Help-advice-suggestion greatly appreciated once again

One way to differenciate the BM 'regulars' from the semi-pros is the semi-pros will never approach you first, whereas many times the 'regulars' walk
around and approach the Gringos first. The 'regulars' are aggressive, while the semi-pros are passive. Also, while not always true, most times the semi-pros will be by themselves, and will appear shy/apprehensive.

Great question, Kieth.

I too am curious after seeing the words "semi-pro" and other similar words thrown around.

How is this breakdown structure of full pro, semi pros, etc and what exactly does each mean? What are the pluses and minuses of each?

How do you distinguish them? Are there surefire questions to throw at them which helps tell them apart? Are there other telltale signs?

Damn, I think that's the most questions I've thrown on one post... Thanks in advance for all the wisdom.

Links work fine for me, try again...
The semi-pros are usually regular chicas with a normal job, or she may be a student. You won't see them in the DR every night, they just come maybe near the end of the month to get some extra money for the rent, or maybe once a week at the most... They are discreet and really don't want to be seen at the DR by anyone they know, they just need to make some extra cash. I have pulled some awesome GFE ticas out of the DR around 2pm, you never know what will walk in. It takes a little practice but being schooled by the King at DelRey University I can now spot them pretty quick and will be out of my chair making my move before they get 10 feet in the door and some other gringo gets a chance. :twisted:

OOh my god! I have never had a 31 day wait between my next trip to one of the locations S of the boarder....

Why you make me suffer more. The wait is unbearable. Found post got hooked scheduled as early as possible.

I'm anticipating such a good time have already booked 3 more trips in next 4 months.

My employer starting to ask alot of questions due to request for time off. Just say some personal sh*t that needs to be attended to.
