I am going to be riding off into the sunset in about 2 months and I'd like to leave a bunch of useful links that I have acquired over 15 years. Can't seem to figure out how to save a draft. There's a link for "Manage Drafts" in the "User Control Panel" but that's as far as I can get. |

Prepare a post exactly as you would if you were posting in a thread. When done select "save draft" rather then submit. When prompted select yes and your draft is now saved. To add to the draft or edit it or to post it select user control panel, manage draft and then load draft. |

A workaround would be to open word, type it in there, save it, then when you're ready to post, just copy & paste it into the post window. |

Yep, that would work, I can copy and paste, but I'm trying to post maybe a hundred links from diferent places on my computer that I thought newbie's could use as my parting gift to the board, so I'd have to keep editing my post. Admin advised to wait until the revamped site is up. I have a little time, so I'll wait. OOOps, I just got your point. I think that might work. Thanks, D Nope, it won't copy a bunch of links (like from "my favorites in XP") to a Word file, at least not all at once. |

Open word & then copy the links from your browser one at a time as you access each page whose link you want to copy. The good part about doing it this way is you don't have to do all of them the same day, you can do a bunch & then just save the word document. Then, when you're ready to post, just copy & paste the whole word document into the post window. |
