Looks that way. Many here remember Rico from CRS and dislike him for some of things that happened there but he made ICR entertaining and that disappeared under the new ownership. Hopefully someone will resurrect it under the old format.

Who knows they may qualify for the "Soprano discount" if they buy it. :P

Noticed that too. There was one day last week where they apologized for not publishing and it was due to a death of a friend or something. This is what they said on Facebook yesterday: "Hey ICR readers, after some immense technical issues the past few days, we are happy to let you know that we should be back to publishing tomorrow." So we shall see.

I've received numerous emails from them apologizing for missing publications. From death in family to technical issues. May be financial or they may be clueless on how to make it work.

Just got an email from them citing internet connectivty issues, with a brief summary of news items, not sure when they will back full steam. I sure do miss the old publisher's daily Ero-Tica. always good for a few sighs. The new publisher said he was working on getting the rights back.

Yhis is the email he sent out this morning:.

Quote:
"Well, ICR is back, sort of. Our offices have been without Internet connectivity since Saturday as ICE performs an upgrade of fiberoptic infrastructure in the area, and we do not have sufficient backup connectivity to write, research, and publish our news without our primary Internet feed. Today, we were able to obtain a temporary backup solution that provides us with about 10% of our normal internet connectivity, which is allowing us to get some work done. ICE still has no ETA on when our normal service will be restored so we apologize ahead of time for any continued delays or "thin" editions until our full internet connection can be fully restored.

As time goes on and our budget permits, we plan on improving our infrastructure. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience these past days."

Sounds like the buyer of Inside CR should have had a "non-compete" with Rico, QCR is a very nice e-paper.

Anyway, Inside CR was finally back on-line today.
