Does anyone have any experience using MyTica.com ? I am interested in pursuing an email relationship prior to coming to CR and thought that maybe that might be a good way to meet some semi or non-pros.

My problem is that they never answer their emails. They have a Miami telephone number which never answers and they give off all the vibes of being a scam operation.

Was hoping that maybe one or two of you who live in San Jose may have some personal knowledge and contact with the owners and the company. I just want to make sure I'm not being scammed before sending off the colones to join.

I've heard from some of you that use the service and have been quite pleased, but they seem to unable to reach the comapny for questions, etc.

Have met a lot of guys who have used them. It is not a scam but there customer service seems to be very bad.

Most of the guys say they have met someone and emailed back and forth, some worked out some different, just like any dating service.

That might have been a useful link 4 years ago when this thread was last active, but as of today all that link will get you is a Canadian IT consulting firm. Unless that is what you're looking for, I'm gonna have to go with nay on that one.

The girls definitely look hotter on mytica than on myticas!

I was a member of my tica several years ago. Met several chicas including a couple who I had previously "met' in a place called Del Rey . Also met a couple of real sweet, abeit nieve, chicas but nothing that really appealed to me--Could be that the ones I was most interested in were not interested in me.

There office was robbed and site crashed- all info for clients (male) was lost and I never could get them to straighten out the insueing mess so left the site.

I used this in 2001 on my first trip. Met a great looking, very sweet calena(who spoke no english and took her to Los Suenos) I am still looking for this chica( all I have is her pics) She had a day job. Also sent a plane ticket to another chica who stayed with me a week and then left for Carolina(she didn't say north or south ) she ended up a TOM in fall 2004. Aint it funny how time slips away
