Hello fellow CRTers. As a few of you know, I am trying to write a book that is essentially the life story of one of the working girls down here whose life story is quite amazing, in my opinion. She started working the Park at the age of 15 and is now grandmother of at least seven (at 46) and still working.

The book is coming along pretty well but I would be interested in stories and thoughts about the old Park Hotel from those who were there. If you care to share, you can write them out or we can meet, or I can call and we can talk on the phone. No names will be used unless you WANT your name used.

Well, either nobody remembers or nobody cares to share. Oh well, I have a few volunteers from real life. Have fun at the Halloween parties, all. I can't predict who will win the male costume prize but I can predict who won't.

I went to the Park Hotel on a friday night in Dec. 2001. I went with a guy I met from the Del Rey and we walked over. At this time it was 35,000 colones to make $100. I paid about $15 to get in and Bill unlocked the door to let us in and locked it back. The place was pretty crowded and it was 8:30. Bill waited about an hour before he brought the girls in so he could sell more beer. There were six chicas and none were taller than 4'10". Looked like nicas to me but could be any nationality. I only used the bathroom once because the stinch of urine was so bad in the restroom it almost made me sick. This bar is old and flithy. I met a guy there that graduated from Arlington SAm Houston HS and he lived in the hotel. He was wearing a nice Captian's hat and I remember telling my friend that as drunk,high that he was I would hate for him to be the capitian of the boat I was on. Several years later I read where he was sitting in a bar stool and it collapes and he was killed by the fall. Not suprised and I doubt he felt a thing. I walked back where the resturant was and it was very dirty. then the chicas come on the bar and Bill hands out baby oil to everyone. There is a sign on the wall FREE BLOWJOBS ON TUESDAY. It was something that I can't describe but really crazy. I am glad I went once. One guy was eating a chica and he got a t-shirt. My friend and I left before the blow job raffle was announced. I went one time on a special invite with friends. They had 6 Chicas. We went in and they passed out coupons that looked like movie tickets from the old days.
