Very curious since none of my female friends here in the US have any of that after giving birth.

Many suggest that these are caused because the ladies in Costa Rica are having Babi*s when they are too young. However, I am under the impression that the female body is ready to procreate as young as 14 years old.

Any scientific input is welcome!

I believe there are several reasons why a c section could happen.

Many cases occur by the shape of the woman, gilrs are small here as well as their body is, therefore they are not strong enough to hold the 9 months giving birth to pre mature childs and obviously going through a C section.

In some cases, women get scared of what they see at the hospital and don't expand. (my girl case) she was ready for a "normal birth" and all the sudden she retracted bacause she saw another lady almost giving birth in her bed. she was also in a lot of pain and the doctor decide to perform a C section.

Also the risky pregnancy is common, I have hear that most of risky one end up being a C section.

Now in regards of the stretch marks, occur when expanding skin is stretched to its limit and tiny tears appear in the supporting layers of skin.
Almost every women will get them, however most of them can be treated

Are you a doctor or did you just stay at a Holiday Inn last night?

Must have been Holiday Inn "EXPRESS" to know that much!

Mente is not a doctor, but he is a Tico, and knows alot about the ticas.

I would add that Ticas, for some reason, seem to have more difficulty than other latinas in getting their bodies back to normal. It seems to be a Tica thing, and not sure why. For some reason, childbirth just messes them up, and the affects are unfortunate.

However I have noticed an add coincidence. The heavier ticas seem to have more stretch marks. Some of the super thing ones don't show any signs of childbirth at all. One of my Harem is a super flacca Tica that has a three year old son, and shows NO signs of having a K*D. In fact when she told me I was shocked. I think that was when she was on top of me pounding away...so not shocked enough to stop what I was doing!

On the C Section thang, here in the US of A more OB's are going the way of the C. C's can be scheduled as its an operation so the time and date are all predetermined.

The docs and hospital admin. like it alot because; A. They can schedule their days. No more 2 am deliveries or interrupted rounds of golf. B. More production like with cost controls and guaranteed revenues to make the Benz payments while ensuring beds and surg suites are optimized. C. reduced risk over a natural delivery avoiding malpractice yielding lower insurance rates and horror stories about quality care issues.

Maybe in CR under the social medicine program, C's are prefered for the cost avoidance, risk management, and scheduling benefits too?

I agree with points A and B but don't know about C, since there is more risk involved in a C section, I have know cases where tissue and scissors are left inside the patiente.

On the other hand natural delieveries are less cost than C sections, since the ladies are able to leave the hospital faster than the ones with a C section
