Hi all,

See subject title: I'm asking because my first trip to CR will be 2/21/13 to 2/28/13 and I wonder if the chicas will not like a guy if he is fat. I understand that they are putas/hookers/people who have sex for money and they don't necessarily have to like the people they have sex with.

I look regular in my arms and legs but I have a fat belly, about 235 pounds, 5'10" . I'm 47 years old and I'm trying to get the fat off. Do the chicas automaticaly dislike/reject a guy because he is overweight?

I mongered in the Phillipines when I was a much younger man and enjoyed a different girl almost every night for four years...those were the days...and I was lot younger...

I'm serious about the facts concerning the chicas not liking overweight guys :?: :?: :?: what do you think the average tica chica thinks?

As long as you have the green my friend, you'll be fine. Many of the guys you'll see wandering the DR can stand to lose a few pounds. I will say this though...I've been on both sides of the fence and have had greater success negotiating rates while being skinnier. I went from a size 48 pant in 2008 to a size 36 today.
I find that chicas are a tad more receptive to me being in shape vs when I was the size of a house. But it's like anything, look good, smell good, etc, and you'll get better results. Sure, they're hookers, but would you rather be with the fat sweaty and stinky guy for 100, or the in shape and clean guy for 80?

This has just been my personal observation, having been large and normal weight.

First, it is about the dinero. No money, no honey, no tea, no talk. Viet Nam vets may remember that one. :D

Second it is more about what is between your ears, and less about what is between your belt. With people, women included, attitude makes a world of difference. If you are worried about whether you are not looking "good enough" for the women, you will not be. Change that thought to women will want you for all of your other wonderful traits, and you are starting out from a good position.

I too am fat, and old, but I do have the money. So in baseball it would be one ball, two strikes. In mongering I am hitting .750 because I have the money. My life has been more than I deserve. I honestly believe that a woman is going to have a great session with me. I tell them, and it shows in my attitude. Many times women have been getting hit on by younger and better looking men, but have sent over my amigos to tell me they wanted to be with me. My attitude tells them I am fun. It most certainly is not because of my body, or age. I am always clean (not sweaty), I wear a cologne that women love (I'm not stinky), and I dress fairly well, with clean clothes. I have been every where from 200lbs. to 250 lbs. (currently), when mongering. I'm sure that the women given a choice would take the 200 lb. version. Once in la cama and they experience a few big O's, somehow they want a reapeat, fat or not.

Your body image does not define you. If you are not thinking the highest thought for self, the sooner that you realize that, and change that thought your life will soar. It is easier to say than accomplish. My ego is comfortable where it is and knows the results. It does not want change, for it is unknown. Change any negative thought patterns, and the sky is the limit.

Thank you for your responses and thank you for the advice and reassurances about my situation, YOU GUYS ARE AWESOME ON ADVICE. I hope you guys are there in CR around 2/21-28/2013, I'll certainly buy you a drink wherever we meet up. PM me if you're there during that time...

The only way your going to slow them down from hitting on you is to wear sunglasses. You make eye contact she will be right there.

Money is what they want, but when they can the girls will pick the clients they want to sleep with. When they are many guys around the girls can get selective. Some will highball the guys they don't want to sleep with. Some of the hotter girls will definitely have the pick of the litter. Its still about the money, but why sleep with a guy you are not interetested in for whatever reason.

I too am fat and old and speak and write from experience. Simply put, it doesn't have to be an issue if you don't let it be an issue. Conquering your own self doubt and insecurities will get you where you want to be.

Having a few complimentary phrases in Spanish will assist you. Take your pic....the "lines" are the same the world over: "You are very pretty." "You have a very pretty outfit on tonight." Etc. Ya don't have to go over the top....with "The gates of Heaven must be open, I think I'm looking at an angel Ch*ld....". You've got loads of time to get a couple down pat.

it's a "See the ball. Be the ball" kind of situation. Keep telling yourself in your mind "I'm the man. I run the show here." If you see one you like, go for it. He who hesitates is lost. And don't become discouraged if one you "want" turns you down.....move on to the next. Try to remember....Babe Ruth was strikeout king before he hit 60 homeruns.

Oh....and what he said about this asinine concept of "game"......you're dealing with commerce and purchasing a fantasy; nothing more and nothing less...being polite and genuine is all you really need. Just as above....feel free to pm me with any questions.

I think you are gonna be just fine; if you look around places like Hotel Del Rey, Sportmans, Hotel Little Havana, and other places gringo's like to gather, you will never confuse it with a casting call for Calvin Klein models, or a Brad Pitt look alike contest :oops: :P :lol: Most of the guys you will encounter are not that great looking, and a belly/being overweight to one degree or another is common.

So what to do to swing the odds more in your favor - Oh.....BTW.....green/cash conquors all - dress a little better than the average jamoke, and be careful regarding your personal hygene - and don't overpay b/c you think you are a fat slob - fat you may be, but a slob, never :)

Look, the girls are people, not machines - so while they might love a good looking 25 year old, they are there to work, and they like cash more; you will be fine :)
