There has been some stuff written about the new traffic law but this is the first information I have seen about how the point system has been changed.

If it is confusing in English, I can imagine how it reads in Spanish... :lol:

I must have lived here too long because I did not find it confusing. :D

I am glad to see they revised the point system to one where you get points for an infraction rather then the original where you started with points and had them taken away with each infraction. Perhaps because that is the system I am use to that is used in the states.

What I find most troubling is that since I have a 6 year license that means if I only get 2 points each year I could be suspended for 12 months. Seems like it would take only a few minor infractions to reach that total.

Pretty straighforward point system just like in the states. Very easy to understand.
