Hola!! First, I'd like say thanks to all of those that post here, but particularly to those who no longer need the board but continue to participate to help out us new guys (of course they get to keep up with their friends too, which is another of this boards characteristics that appeals to me). Second I’d like to say thanks to the administrators who provide this wonderful board for such a reasonable rate! I'm sure I'll save way more than the cost of my membership; from the things I have learned here (and I get discounts TOO!!). I have noticed many of you have been multiple times, suggesting you feel you are getting your moneys worth. That really has me fired up about going down!! (I'm planning February or March '05). I have ordered several Spanish programs off EBay, as I have read how much the guys think that enhances the experience. Funny how much faster you can learn something when you’re motivated!! I have learned more in the past week than I did in two semesters of Spanish in college! NOW FOR THE MOST IMPORTANT PART!!! I have read about an interview one of the guys put together, that helps you find the date that is most compatible for you. It also helps settle all-important issues up front. The problem is I haven't been able to find that particular topic. I was hoping someone familiar with the article, or better with the search engine than I, could post the link here. Thanks again for all the wonder information, you guys post here. I hope to be posting and helping out new guys soon myself! Look forward to meet some of you soon, NC-Gentlemen |

NC, King Costa's post is a great primer for negotiating. Also look for a post titled "chicas 101" posted by me a few months back about Chica pshycology.
