Six years ago, on the suggestion of Don Gordo, I had a bit of work done by Dra Yalile Sanchez at Centro Commercial del Sur.

I had a wonderful , economical experience, but did have a couple of problems that was mostly caused by my not giving her enough time on the trip.

Anyone using her lately ?

Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

Rico

there's a good thread on this from not too long ago...check it out.

I had 2 friends use 90210 in Curridibat recently and they both had good experiences.

I used 90210 and was well satisfied. They even declined to up sell me. Never had that experience at a dentist before. As far as Seabreeze comments, he doesn't need a dentist. He has chica E to knock out his teeth!

Just don't get the zoom tooth whitening at 90210. There is a slight chance they will burn off your gums. I now have a visable gap on the upper part between my two front teeth where the gums were burned off and destroyed. The post about it is below.

The gums did not grow back, the tissue was destroyed permanently.

My dentist back in the states is a graduate of Duke University dental school, board member of the ADA and on the state certifying board. He may be expensive by Costa Rica standards but the quality and service is exemplary.

My cheap ass tried to save a few bucks....lesson learned.

Well, that was your first mistake! Nah, just kidding with you :)

I've had a lot of dental work done here and have been very satisified - multiple implants; also go for cleaning every time I'm in CR - he has a large American oriented practice

Dr Marco Munoz Cavallini 506 2222 8443 2255 3386 (phone #'s)

E mail cavallinidentist@hotmail.com

Web site www.aestheicdentristrycr.com

Good luck - they do a great job at 1/2 the price (or less) of a dental practice in the USA

This is a real busy, I'd estimate 60 - 70% American/Canadian practice

While anyone can have a bad experience on any given day, I would recommend anyone check out this practice - they annoy me b/c they overbook, and you wait longer than you should (I have never met people who so willingly put up with such bad <customer> service as Costa Ricans  ) - but the professionalism and quality of work is excellent - I am sure there are practices who charge less, but thats really not what you should shop when it comes to dentists :)
