Post subject:  U.S. Enbassies attacked.
The U.S.embassy in Libia and Egypt were attacked yesterday. The embassador to Libia and 3 others were murdered with a rocket attack on their car. I assume we are safe here in CR

Anybody been on this forum for more than 2 months that can't predict exactly where every thread will eventually go? :roll: It is rather fun sometimes to watch members dance like marionettes. haha Push button X on person Y and get Z response. Manipulation is pretty easy, provide at least a little resistance.

This is not political....it's world news from many sources.

Note: I cannot validate this report. It will be interesting to see if the mainstream media will mention this. The internet is full of strange things so we will have to wait to see if this is true. Personally, I hope not.

over a movie. meanwhile back in the states the media does its best to make sure the identity of the director is revealed to all. posting pictures of his supposed home in cali. one shot even had his license plate number visible.

I know you post that you cannot validate this report but unless it comes from a source other than those cited, I'm not gonna believe it - and no, I had not heard about it - just when you think it could not get any worse - if - big if - true.

The thing to do is get our country energy independent and then we could ignore the Arab world - its oil that has us even interested in that part of the world - those people will never love us nor will they ever seek raproachment with us - you are not going to change 1400 years of history - at least the Russians during the cold war realized the menaing of "Mutually assured destruction" - these assholes don't care b/c as "martyrs" they get to Phuck 40 virgins each day - you are not going to reason with people of that mind set.

And if you say the vast majority of muslims are reasonable, peace loving people, I'd agree - say 90% of them are - still leaves 100 million <assuming 1 billion + muslims in the world> who may not be so benevelent.

So what to do.....since you are not going win their hearts and minds, you just have to make them fear you - like if our property - an embassy or a consulate is the property of the country in question - is breached, we will aniliate the attackers involved, for starters.

hmmm Maybe it is time to stay outta their world. Just maybe. Of course the US has carte blanche all over the world and comes and goes as it pleases.
