What really makes me crazy is how some of the HDR Chicas will hold out for Cien and go home with zero. Can someone explain that business mentality!!

They are hookers not economists. They didn't attend Harvard Business school. Most of them can plan about 10 minutes at a time.

They're still living off of the cien from yesterday and the day before that.

Their weekly average take must be good enough to satisfy their needs, which are less than our needs.

Yes I can. By offering discounts from what you have determined to be the value of your product, you devalue your product and reduce long term profit potetial. It also limits your ability to raise prices when the market swings in your favor. Pretty simple actually.

Everybody has their price point. Some girls won't take $1,000 for p4p. Some take $10. Decide which girl you want.

I work in a service industry. I'm good (enough) at what I do, I don't have to take every job/client that comes my way, let alone at a discounted fee. I find that the client who pays what I ask for and doesn't give a big hassle is usually a pleasure to deal with, and the guy who wants to offer me less is likely to be one complaint after the next. I'd rather go home and j/o for an hour than work an hour at half my normal rate.

So I guess the answer to your question is that it just isn't worth it to them. This is, after all, the work that they do. If you are earning enough money to meet your basic needs, then maybe you don't want to take on more work for diminishing returns. Sounds like basic economics to me.

If you worked 40 hours at $40 per hour, how eager would you be to work that 41st hour for another $12.50? I look at it this way.
