Listen..I like to wear nice designer suites. Would I look ridiculously out of place if I wore a suit to the BM or Key Largo? Thx.

Yes. The dress in both places is from shorts/T-shirts/flip flops to at the most business casual. The only ones wearing suits are security.

Wearing a designor suit yes you would be very out of place... As I've yet to see anyone in that type of attire.. You will find throughout the Del Rey / BM various types of dress from Snookys description which you get much of during the day, to mostly Jeans, polo shirts shoes and dress shirts at night... Khaki pants and shirts also are very popular items of dress.

A pair of dress slacks and nice shirt is fine as well. REMEMBER DO WHAT MAKES YOU FEEL COMFORTABLE, as I am a true believer you will get better expierience with any chica if you look good and smell better... Yes they want the Dead Presidents, but being more appealing to the lady doesn't hurt either....

Good advice Capo. The more I go to SJO, the less clothing I take with me. Piroca, I also enjoy wearing nice clothes, but the bottom line is the ladies realy don't care. It's all about dead presidents, smelling good and making them smile.
First trip, had a new set of clothes for every day in country. Now, it's shorts and sandals daytime, long slacks with shirt and sandals evening. Think corporate casual and you'll do well. One other thing, leave the bling bling at home. SJO is NOT the place to flash it if you want to keep it.

LOL, you can always play high roller with your buddies and watch he chicks flock to you. Just have 2 other buddies with you. One becomes the high roller by dresing in regular slacks and the other are dressed in a suit and act like bodyguards. Probably wont help the price but the attention will be tremendous.

Shit, I don't even own a suit much less one with designs on it. But I do perhaps hold the record for the number of strange outfits worn in the BM. When you get my age while sporting a 2" shriveled up pecker......one has to do something to attract attention. If laughs and pity were orgasms, Old Circus would have all the sex he could stand. For some reason.....I'm suddenly depressed.

I agree Capo, I always took a nice set of clothes & shoes to get dressed up on say, Sat. night and think it does help me get a better price and have a better experience with the hot chicas. Let's face it, will she have a better attitude and give a lower price if I'm dressed in my slob outfit of flip-flops and cutoffs and hadn't shaved in 2 days or if I'm nicely dressed. And I have more confidence and positive attitude when sharply dressed, which makes for a better time with them. Just my experience, the rest of the time I'm all about being comfortable.
I did see 5-6 guys come into the DR one night last week in suits, obviously some businessmen in town for something and probably paid too much.

do you guys remember the ya hoo that used to hang at the BM in a suit jacket with no shirt? Had airborn wana bee wings on the jacket. Claimed he was lucky sperm club heir to Baskin Robbins... He was famous or infamous for taking chicks out of the BM and beating the shit out of them. He was a real basket case. I think some one popped him coming out of the Largo. Three tight burtst to the heart. Had a whore on each arm. No harm to the chicks, just a tight trio cluster burst to that SOB and an AMF.

But if you like to dress and dont mind the bag drag out of the airport what the ph*ck. Do what you like.

Triple FFF, I think you're referring to Garfield ?? Big guy, long grey hair, sometimes had suits with medals and fringe, lots of jewelry, like medallions. Definetly strange. I talked to him once or twice in the late 90's.

There were many rumors about him, including that his wealthy family paid him to not live in the States.

But I don't think he was the guy that got shot in front of the Key Largo. I thought that was a KL manager. Can anyone fill us in on Garfield. I always wondered what the real story was with him. :?:

That was also the rumor in those days. He was supposedly an heir to the Baskin-Robbins fortune but was such an embarrassment to the family they supposedly made a deal with him, stay in Costa Rica and we will make sure you are taken care of financially. TRUE :?: :?: who knows, like many things in CR the fact or fiction is hard to discern.

dboy,

You are absolutely right. It was Garfield and he was a member or the wanted or not wanted club expated to CR in the late 90's. I do not know what has happened to him in the last few.

You are also right about the dude popped on the way out of the KL. He was a player from NY that cheated a little too much on the boys and from the Park Morazon got a triple in tight. They found the AK dropped. A total pro job.

You gotta love CR, Yea?

I'm pretty sure I saw this guy in Feb when I was down there. I thought he was strange looking but then again I've seen a lot of strange things in my lifetime. So if this happened before then I don't think it was him.
