There is a great little organic market down the railroad tracks away from the center of San Jose. If you walk along the tracks it will be on the right, can't miss it. Always get a great light lunch. Today was falafel, eggplant and tahini on home made bread. Good produce there also. Definitely worth a look if you need something to do on a Saturday morning.

Third, that sounds cool. Can you elaborate on the directions a bit from the gulch?

Not good at all with downtown directions. Embarrassed to say I don't know north, south, east and west. The easiest I can tell you is to walk along the railroad tracks that run by Hotel Amistad and walk in the opposite direction you would go to go to the center of San Jose. It is only a few hundred yards. Just keep looking to the right. You can't miss the soccer field and a rec center. There will be a good number of cars parked there. Due to the holiday they don't have it today. Back to normal next week. Hope my lame directions help.
