Cars can be a big headache in CR. Make sure that your questions about security of the car are very specific. Be sure to have plenty of insurance for a car. Busses in CR work very well, although air conditioning in busses can be a problem. Taxis are everywhere, and cheap. RAC |

the hotels do not have parking other than on the streets around them there are secured parking areas very close, especially at SL but they are not free |
