I found this one online, and I hope I am not duplicating what has already been posted. This map is on: http://www.maptak.com/cr/sanj/c-sanjose/c-san.html#

You can right click to zoom in on any area of San Jose. There are pictures of various interesting sights, including the little restaurant at the corner down the street from Hotel Presidente. That is where I usually buy my phone cards from the Old Man there....at the table out front. Really nice guy and he already knows me and what I want. Also nice pictures of Avenida Central, and some of the other sites as you walk around. Unfortunately, no pics of the Del Rey. Maybe one of our gifted mongers could make a version of this map with pics of all the interesting sites....ZB, Oasis, Del Rey....Key largo....Presidente, etc.

Glide, nice link. Have seen this map before, but it's a little hard to read. Agree a monger version would be invaluable. It sometimes gets a little difficult finding unfamiliar places without a visual reference. Is there any enterprising brother out there willing to take on this challenge?

don't forget to right click, and then zoom in. You can read it really easy when you zoom....and you can use the cursor to move the map around.

Hey Astro

Good map

I am surprised there isn't a gallery of all the destinations.

It could be a simple as the photo gallery of the ladies.
Maybe as complex as being alphabetical.

Guys could just e-m photo's they surely have.
Would this be a large project for an Admin.?

It could complement Don Gordos map.

Actually, this link WAS posted before but for some reason does not show up on a search. It appears other posts may have been "trimmed" from the board as well. Could it be time for the Admins to set up an archive section to preserve our board's history?

Anyway, it is definitely a cool map! I also like Astro's idea of creating a monger version and believe that may be original. I wouldn't mind doing it, but it might take a little while before I can get enough time to finish it. If the admins are willing to allocate a little space here for it I'll get cracking on it.

Didn't downandup or someone talk about creating a new improved updated print map a while ago? How is that coming along?

I really like the map that has the names printed right on it. I have a .jpg, but haven't become VIP yet, so I'd have to email it or post it on a website. Of course, I could just put the link for where I got it, but I don't remember.

Thanks for offering to do the work.

I'll buy you a beer when it's done.

See you at HH BM 5pm Monday.
