It starts to get dark here in L.A. around 4:30 already. What time does it start to get dark in San Jose these days?

they are no time changes in Costa Rica. Like clockwork, it starts to get dark around 6pm and the sun rises around 5:15am-5:30am. This is year round.

Now that we're no longer in Daylight Savings Time, I think CR is the same time zone as Chicago. Correct? :?:

During DLS time, I think CR is on NY time. Si?

But note, if you're laying in bed in the morning, watching FOX or MSNBC or the TV guide (don't remember which), the time they display can be an hour different than CR time. Might be Mexico's time.

You won't miss breakfast, but you might get up an hour earlier than you need to!

Anybody ever see a clock in Costa Rica? :?:

During DSL Costa Rica is in the same time zone as Denver, New York is plus 2 hours, Chicago plus 1.

Yes, you're right, my mistake. Now it's the same as Chicago.

But compare the TV guide/CNN/Fox time display to CR time. I know it was one hour off when I was there is Sept.[/quote]
