Don't get me wrong...I'd still rather have the new plastic 1000 and 2000mil bills than no money at all. However the shit keeps sliding around in your pocket and falling out. Now the Govt in their infinite wisdom is preparing to issue 5000s also

It is because the people who like the Colombian cold seem to like the fact you can clean any residue off the plastic bills much easier than the old paper ones...... Make them all the same size too please........

Didn't they make them that way because it's harder to counterfeit a plastic bill than a paper one? I don't know if I heard that, or just assumed it.

Like it or not, you'll have to get used to it. There are a lot of countries that are switching over to plastic money. I wouldn't be surprised if the US makes the change too.

Only time anyone would need to find a new country to live in is if decide to take up residency here.
