Post subject:  Happy Birthday CRT! 8 Years Old Today
CRT was officially born August 17th 2003. It didn't actually go live until a couple of weeks later hence the official / Unofficial date of Labor Day weekend as our Anniversary, but Today 8 years ago we were born.

Where has the time gone? I remember just like it was yesterday doing the mock up of the old discussion forum, playing with colors etc at the old Internet Cafe down the block from the Hotel Del Rey across from the Music store, while, SafaDino, Duardo, Pidd, DonGordo and a few others stood by as we chatted about what ideas there were for the site. At no time did I ever imagine the way we would have grown and become such a well respected community of brothers. Yes we don't always get along there are the occasional bad seeds but even with that I certainly am happy to lead such a fine group of people many of which I've come to know and respect and call friends. July we had close to 300K Unique visits to the site.. Have no idea what that all means :) but it certainly seems like a lot of visits :)

Happy Anniversary CRT. Admin 1, thank you for all the great guidance and support over the years. CRT has been an integral part of my life the last six years and I am better off for it. It will be good to celebrate the anniversary this Labor Day weekend Saturday at the SL and Anniversary party Sunday at HLH. I hope many of the members old and new will attend.

I've enjoyed being a member over the past several years, and this site would not be possible without your ongoing efforts Admin1. Thanks for all you've done and continue to do! Some of the gentlemen I've met and friendships I've made will last a lifetime and would not have been possible without CRT.

Thanks for all the hard work. Invaluable resource that has helped me greatly on my visits and now my move to Cr. Hope I get the opportunity to thank you in person and buy you a pop or two. Thanks again.

who'd a thunk back on Nov. 23, 2003 when I signed up as member # 239 to research my 1st trip to sjo, how many hundreds of hours I would end up spending on this site & how many trips (30 or so I think) that I would end up spending in this wonderful little Central American country!

I first visited CR in 2000 as an eco-tourist and stumbled upon the Del Rey and paid the dreaded 'cein' to the first girl who smiled at me !
I stumbled across this site in 2005 and was tempted to make another visit in 2006 which was a great success because I had so much information on the mongering scene. The rest as they say is history.
Each trip since then is better than the last. Thanks again Admin. for a job well done

Feliz Cumpleaños. This site saved my first trip. Had it not been for CRT, we would have spent our entire 10 day trip in Heredia bored out of our minds, and I would have never returned. Once I found CRT, we left that dirty/smelly house and moved into a hotel downtown. Anybody remember "La Gran Via" on central? It was like $40/night for a pretty nice room.

Funny, that is where I stayed my first trip (first mongering trip, my first trip to CR was in the late 80s) in 2004. My room was cavernous, and had a pretty nice balcony on which I had a killer late night session with a half Filipino chica (always wondered where she went to). I loved the location, right at the center of the walkway. Just far enough away from HDR to feel like you were out of the mongering loop, but really just a few blocks away.

On that trip I had Laura the GFE Colombiana who was one of the chicas du jour back in the day for a TLN in the Grand Via. It was the only time I have ever agreed to a cien for an hour (rookie me), but luckily it turned into a great all night session.

What I rememeber most about that trip was having a wonderful dinner with T Man, Vegas Bob, Dave, and a couple other guys at an Argentine Steakhouse. It was just one of the special evenings where everything seemed right. Part of it was the newness of the place and the experience; which is why I like to travel to other places as well, to capture that sense of newness and adventure.

Thanks for the years Admin1 and to all the guys I have meet over the years (back when I was Psychman as well).
