There are hundreds of old pics dating back to the late 1800's, some from the Smithsonian Anthropological Archives. Also info (en espanol) like "Población de Costa Rica en 1522" which I guess is the population breakdown of the country then, total 27,200, a pic of Parque Morazan 1921 (surprised the Templo de Música was there that long ago) and Volcán Poás erupting in 1954.
