Hey! Anyone else that also likes the girls before the life of breast implants and razor blades and who has a stragegy how to meet them?

Steve....good suggestion. There are several trip reports mentioning this topic, Texcdn is one....and my last "ultimate fantasy" reports also deal with the subject.

Dapanz....you make a good point about no such thing being a semi pro. I will disagree about one thing however. There are thousands of chicas in San Jose that will NEVER set foot in the Del Rey....but they have no problem with screwing your brains out for a little money. They are sweet....innocent (well more so than the Del Rey girls) sexually aggressive and willing to rock your world. They are not jaded with the negative attitudes of the Del Rey girls that eventually become hardened after a time. It is hard to find them, but once you do, you will never want to go back.

You can always find semi=pros working in the afternoon at the BM. At least they will SAY they are only there to make a little money for rent, or tuition or something like that. The trouble is, finding those that are innocent, unjaded...but yet awesome in the sack. That takes a bit of experience, and King Costa's interview techniques (written about here on this board) are good learning tools.

When somebody says they want a semi-pro, what they are REALLY saying is that they don't want a hard core jaded hooker...you want somebody more like a real girl. There are plenty of those in the Del Rey, you just have to be good at weeding OUT the hardcores.

A good rule of thumb is....if they are overly aggressive and pusy in the bar, they are hard core. Look for the innocent ones...those that sit back and don't grab. Have a conversation first. Learn to watch for the signs. Here are some other ideas:

1) Learn spanish. It is the best way to weed out the losers.
2) Be patient. It will take time to fend off the hard core hookers and find the gem.
3) Don't always go with the 10's. Sometimes the hotties know they are hot shit, and are not that good in the sack. Lower your expectations a bit. You don't have to go with an ugly chica, just maybe not one that looks like Pamela Anderson.
4) Spend time with them. Get them away from the bar first. Maybe take them to dinner or Key Largo.....anything to get them away from the pressure cooker.
5) Look for a chica wearing normal clothes. If she is wearing something from "Slut-Wear" she is probably putting on a show to get you hooked. Hence the term....hooker.

Respectfully disagree Dapanz. There is such a thing as a semi-pro, but there just may not be too many of them or at least they are harder to find.

A pro is one who does it for a living and nothing else. She is often jaded but sometimes you can find one that still has a healthy attitude about what she does (and as importantly how to do it). these are the ones you mostly notice, because they are very aggressive in making the "sale".

A semi-pro is one that does it for extra money. She still has a regular job that provides some if not most of her livelihood. She is seen less frequently at places like the DR/BM (perhaps only at the end of the month if she is coming up short on her rent). Or even more likely, does not want to be seen at such a place with the hard core hookers and instead plys her trade more discreetly by picking up guys at such places as El Pueblo, etc. She is much less jaded than the DR/BM girls. She may even indulge herself in the BFE (she's not really hooking, just accepting monetary gifts from the guys she "dates"). As such she may play the GFE for you as much to assauge her own guilt at what she is really doing and to maintian her own fantasy.

The problem is twofold. First, there are many girls, expecially at the BM, who claim to be only semi-pro but who work there a lot more than they let on or are willing to admit. They may have started out that way but they are NOT semi-pros or are at least WELL on their way to becoming hard-core pros. Which brings us to the second problem. Its hard to be semi-pro for very long. Either they quickly realize that there's far more easy money working the Gringos than in the poor paying job and spend more and more time doing that, eventually quitting their day job altogether (its hard to screw around every night to the wee hours and still get up for one's 9 to 5) or they find the work too unpleasant or feel too guilty about it to continue doing it.

That said there still are some who last as semis, doing their once a month rent Phuck or once a year christmas Phuck year after year and there are always new semis getting their feet wet for the first time. Here are some suggestions for finding them.

1) Get out of the Gulch mentality. Try non-traditional places like El Pueblo. If you manage to pick a chica there, she could be just a girl looking for a fun time, a semi-pro that expects a gift on her nightstand at the end of the evening or even a hardcore pro. The problem is its not always easy to tell which.
2) Think of which times would be most likely for semi-pros to be trying their luck. Think weekend nights or days, the end of the month and in the period leading up to holidays. I'm not sure why others seem to find them there during the weekday afternoons, but those may just be the ones who CLAIM to be semi-pros.
3) Look for the girls who don't look like they belong at the BM, not ones that are part of a clique or that seem to know many of the other girls. She's usually all alone but might be with another semi-pro friend for emotional support and will still be apart from the rest of the crowd. She might also look like she doesn't want to be there (go ahead and rescue her)
4) Ask some nearby CRT'ers (especially the regulars) if they have seen that girl around. If they say no or not in a while or only on weekends but never durig the week, you may be on to something.
5) Being less experienced at picking up guys, she may be shy, embarassed or reluctant to approach you. If she is aggressively hitting on you she is more likely to be a hard-core pro. The semi-pros are simply not used to approaching guys to proposition them. You still must approach them.
6) Not having hung out around Gringos as much as the pros, she is less likely to have picked up any "bar-girl" english. The ability to speak spanish is even more important in the pursuit of semi-pros than it is in general.

Astro's rules are good ones for seperating the good pros from the hard-core ones as much as it applies to finding TRUE semi-pros. His slutwear rule is also generally a good one for seperating the semi-pros from the pros, but a regular semi who makes a monthly appearance might have gotten a special outfit for her "sideline", so the rule is not hard and fast. Scratch that. King raises a very good point in the next post.

One final point. Keep in mind that lack of professional experience can be a double-edged sword. She may be sweet and innocent and less skilled at playing you for money, but she may also be less skilled at her sexual technique or more inhibited. I had a semi-pro once (from El Pueblo) that refused to take her clothes off in front of me. She disrobed in the bathroom, insisted I dim the lighting and hopped quickly under the covers. I don't know what she was trying to hide because she was a gorgeous spinner, but not stuck up like some of the hotter hard-core pros that Astro was talking about. Unfortunately, her oral skills were mediocre at best. I went back to the BM the next night and got one of the regular girls.

There is a huge difference between a hard core regular and a part timer.
In fact, it is not uncommon to meet chicas in the DR/KL that are first timers.

The money is just too tempting and relatively easy. Astro mentioned my post on the Interview which generally works very well. In some cases, the clothes really give it away. Part timers are very secretive when they visit the DR and usually do not dress the part. If their families find out they work there, they have major problems with their families.

If she dresses like a typically chica walking down the street, you might want to approach her and conduct the interview. Also, they are rarely aggressive and you must approach them.
