We just heard a rumor that the owner(s) of the Sportsman Lodge might take over the Oz bar and hotel in Jaco. I doubt it is true but wanted to know in the small chance that it was if anybody had any info on this subject.

This one probably got started by one of the June 16th lineup at HLH. Then shifted throughout Key Largo, on to one of the IDEM girls, through HDR and mikeycr1974
finally got a hold of it. Love these Costa Rica rumors.

If true, I would say "HELL YES".....and start splitting my stays half Jaco half San Jose. Bill runs a great place and would be a great addition to Jaco.

Sorry for being a first timer and asking about a rumor but the only reason I posted is b/c a good friend from Jaco said a few guys were talking about in a restaurant in Jaco like it was a done deal already. Of course I took with a grain of salt but thought maybe, just maybe, there is a small chance it could be true b/c it seems like it could of been a really good fit. And I didn't hear a "hell no" either...lol!

Its gonna be great ! 5 Pool tables. 100, 68 inch tvs to watch the season finale of 'Dancing with the Stars'. Free session rooms with free hot tubs. All new girls every day, even a bath boy if you desire. Ok, drop the part about the bath-boy. Margarita machines with a different fruit flavor every day. Unlimitied parking for those of you without a car. And hotel rooms too with 25 inch deadend - sound proof walls. I'm so excited, I'm gonna buy a new dress for Halloween-sin ropa interior.

you may be thinking about the guys from the Secret Mansion, They are opening a hotel on the south end of the beach in Jaco

No it was definitely 100% about the Sportsman Lodge guy(s) they were talking about. This is not a rumor it is a fact..lol. Now whether its true I am guessing is not a fact but still interesting if it was the case!

Haven't seen anything new being built on the south end.

SL should add more rooms to existing location.
Maybe buy the old haunted house property across the street.

I was also thinking skywalks across the street so that I would not get run over by a taxi.

That would be awesome indeed...
