the holiday inn aurola at the morazon park diagonal from back key largo entrance.

dropped by last night- has view of large windows over looking park.

Enjoyed their flat screen tv's ; had good sea bass with salad drink; and 2 sodas for 26.00total
not bad price and quality was good- they have tapas/snacks also.

Looks like presidente will be renting their restaurant -turning it into retail stores.

Andrea has started at the "Patio" about 5 days now; glad some of them let go have landed on their feet already. Juan the tall bigger tico guy hasn't found a door yet-saw him on street
but hopefully soon; they were conscientious and a fine bunch of good peeps.

Guess we weren't the only one's turned out to find some lusher patures when the
tierra was getting a bit scorched

I live nearby and it's a good bar to meet people who don't want to be around the prostitutes downtown. However the drink prices are a bit high.

I'll second that. I used to like hanging out there when I stayed at the Holiday Inn about 10 years ago. I stayed there four or five times. That was when they didn't have a chica fee!
They used to have a great free buffet in the casino on the 17th floor on Friday nights. The casino used to have a craps table, but nobody ever was at it. I don't even know if it is still there.

i don't drink much so didn't notice and only had one beer but overall seemed reasonable for what i ordered but for lunch i would go grab some exjecutivo special

did have a fun time watching a transvestite walk by from the window and also
3 guys throwing this girl up in the air for 2 hours doing cheerleading gymnastics in the part of morazon just inside wall near hotel.

And before i left a group of 4 couples had gabi take there picture with 4 different cameras and that was fun as each camera had different way to get the flash to go off and to press/hold button to capture image. One guy joked she was doing a bad job. So when it finally all went smooth they clapped.

not the first place i would run on arrival night, but something different as an option for night of a longer stay.

Pura Vida~

if you go-stairs to right lead to bar one flight up- this way you don't have to ask
