WARNING!!!! On Monday got Zoom tooth whitening at 90210. Told the girl it was burning a little and she said it was normal and she said she put the protectant on my gums so my gums can't be burning.......wrong! Upper gums above front two teeth are burned so bad the they are black/purple (necromonous...as in dead) hope it heals alright. YOU ALL HAVE BEEN WARNED!

If Jeff is on this board and questions it I can post the pictures (been taking each 24 hours)

I got the whitening there a few months ago but was a bit disappointed with the results. I did not have any adverse affects though. If you expect your teeth to look as white as the head honcho's do though it probably won't happen--I suspect that he may have veneers. I did enjoy my beautiful tica dentist's breasts snuggling my ears during the procedure-dam near worth the price of admission! The only side effect that I had was a persistent woodie.

Can't speak to 90210 and the Zoom issue but Had the same procedure done here in the states and the exact same thing happened to me... I was told regardless of the protectant that if you have sensitive gums this is a side effect. Don't know who was bullshitting who but it cleared up after a few weeks it healed.

Read on the website this was side effect as well just didn't expect it to happen to me...

I have not had whitening but my implants and crowns have worked out great. They are as skilled and professional as any dentist I have ever used.

guys im making my second trip to mike, jeff, yelda and the crew. ive been treated like family there. i cant believe someone didnt say zoom would burn. i had 2 root canals, and six crowns in one day and ate dinner that night, minimal pain, no swelling, permanent crowns two days later and and headed back for more work. now that we've been warned ... we might also consider the many crt members who are satisfied with this sponsor. im never having work done in US again. i would rather make a trip to CR for a cleaning. very positive experience with entire staff of 90210. I'll see them Monday June 13.

In the years since Esthetic Dental has been a Sponsor and with the many Brothers reporting on their service, this is the first reported problem and it may be because of a mutual misunderstanding--pretty good track record, I'd say. It would be helpful to hear the clinic's side of the story.
NOTE: I've used this clinic and referred others there but have NO vested interest in them.

I had the whitening process and I remember it started burning I told them and they made an adjustment to prevent it and I was fine no damage done. I just got done with an unexpected $3000 thousand ass phucking here in the U.S. It started with a 25 year old crown that delevoped a hole and needed replacement. After they put the temporary on the tooth above it started hurting like all get out and this turned in to a root canal . I had no recourse the pain was so bad. I will never use a US dentist again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 90210 is it period unless there is a better option I don't know about as they were pretty damn good.

If you google "Zoom Whitening Burn" one will find that this is an undesired outcome of this procedure...but it happens to a few to many. I guess it's one of the risks one has to take with this dental procedure. They say it should be like a minor sunburn on the gums and they should heal just fine.

The satisified clients of 90210 are all sorry it happened to you and wish you a speedy recovery.

I brought my girlfriend down to CR for what I thought was routine dental work and ended up dropping an extreemly difficult case of bridges, crowns and root canals on the practice. Mike and his staff exceeded my expectations and did so in a professional and friendly manner. (On a side note, I took her to another practice in town for a second opinion. And that dentist, who does all the CR beauty pagent contestants smiles WOULD NOT EVEN TOUCH THE JOB.)

If you were unable to catch Mike on the phone, maybe it was because he was in Chicago at the U.S. dental convention or in Germany for the world dental convention in order to keep current on the lastest advances in technology. (I was impressed again when I heard this as we sheduled appointments around the trips)

In the past 14 months, I have had a bridge put in, a few crowns, two root canals, many fillings replaced, cleanings, and Zoom whitening at 90201. In my opinion, all the work was excellent. I now go there for regular cleanings because I don't need anymore dental work. Anytime I have a concern, they have a solution. I told Natalie my mouth stayed numb too long after some of the fillings, so she reduced the medication and everything was good. It's been my experience that they know what they are doing and do it very professionally.
