If you have bought a Prepaid 3G Kolbi-ICE card and is willing to do some tinkering on your phone
you can have internet service in your phone in Costa Rica. After a few Trips and Help from a good
friend who let me look into his phone. I was able to get 3G service on my Nokia N95. If you are

Both Brothers have done us a solid with their postings. Brother Steven1's links are in Spanish natch, so if yours is weak, get a buddy to translate.

Sidenote: Those posters on ForodeCostaRica have some interesting avatars.

ICE is redesigning its internet service for prepaid cell lines. As of March 7, 2011, all new lines will not include internet service.

Orange, you are correct.... however, I.C.E. doing so in I.C.E. style has not followed through on this as of yet and the Kolbi Pre-Pago lines continue to have internet service.

Checked two months ago, internet/data transmission on prepaids suspended, checked 1 month ago, still suspended...will check at the end of this month. Not sure why, one traveler suggested the way low cost, but read article about a fire in an ICE transmission station that damaged a whole lot of equipment.
