Didn't want to hijack any other threads, but a few had me thinking. If these chicas collectively had three working brain cells, there would never be any down time with p4p. With just a tiny bit of business sense, a good looking chica would figure out that certain places are dead with chicas at certain times and jump in there to fill the niche. As long as there is a spot that has 15-20 guys and no adequate chicas, some working girl is missing out. In our own little world of Jaco, I continually try and convince chicas here that there are many guys interested in daytime entertainment here. Three good looking chicas making the rounds during the day could clean up and be in bed resting while the rest are in the Beatle Bar at night. |

It is definitely an exercise in futility.  But I'm just playing the odds. The numbers dictate that I have to meet one that has some logic one of these days.

This all depends on the type of chica as well. The better looking she is, the less she has to work really. Work in this case just doesnt mean sexual performance, but the daily grind of looking, getting passed over, haggling over $20 etc.. Part of it is chicas not being driven, while the other part is chicas not wanting to deal with "working". If a chica has to put on a pretty face for sum 70 yr old guy (and) negotiate a deal..over time, it can be quite taxing I'm sure.. Cujo |

TW I am sorry, But I just had to laugh. I have had so many of the same types of conversations and the blank stares in return. Like a deer in the head lights. It just never ceases to amaze me. Having the same conversation with one of my favorites right now about plane tickets. We are actually in an arguement over me buying all of our tickets at once or me sending her some money so she can buy one of the legs on her own. I have gone a round and a round with her showing her that by buying them all it only adds $200 to the total trip. buying them separte costs almost $600 more. Believe it or not I am losing the battle. Actually I am just tired of fighting about stupid things. Even after telling her I would rather give her the extra dough we save, instead of wasting it on an airline. Each day only shows me how out of touch with common sense and reality these young honeys can be. |

I haven't made to trip down to Jaco yet but it is on my list of things to do. I may be wrong but I assumed that Jaco Beach is seasonal and to when large numbers of people are there, they party like rock stars at night and sleep like vampires during the day. With that in mind, it would seem normal that the freaks come out at night down in Jaco. If I'm right about Jaco being seasonal, maybe many of them have day jobs

Just returned from Jaco and can't add a lot but agree with 3rd. I see a big need for girls in the day there. Went to several beach bars but only one, El Bohio, had a few working girls around. Know because one is good friends and grew up with my girl  We encountered a bit of rain so went to Claritas first. Couldn't get anyone to give us beer so ended up leaving quick. Didn't notice any working girls. Went over to Cocabana and two nude girls in the pool...things were looking up. Then security informs us we have to leave. Turns out, some group/person rented the entire place out and it was private only...thanks for visiting. So went on to El Bohio and see my girls friend, at the bar with a distinguished looking gentleman. There were about 10 in total that came/went/stayed in the hour we were there. |

Perhaps the answer lies with the establishments that are empty daytime. I don't spend any time in Jaco,but I know the SJ scene pretty well. The SL,HDR and HLH seem to have somewhat figured out how to attract the chicas and then the customers. The competition is the MPs. (HLH included) Many independent chicas don't want to work the indy places because they have to compete with the rates at these MPs. If I owned a bar that attracts chicas only at night,I would try to attract them by offering them a free drink during certain hours. Bring in the chicas and along with them will come the Gringos. |

Another factor I think is that in the city a lot of girls have K*ds with them and many of those prefer to work days to be home for the K*ds. It's seems to me very few of the girls in Jaco have their K*ds with them. |

There is also the "public" factor. Girls don't so much mind hanging out at a hooker bar after dark when they are less likely to run into someone that knows them. During the day, they would rather not advertise the fact that they are selling their ass where some home-barrio tico might see them. |

And there lies my task for 2011. I will find and train the perfect, money making hooker. WAIT! Before anyone jumps to the pimp word, this is an experiment to see if one of the creatures can be trained or taught. |

A lot of guys do enjoy daytime p4p... so there probably is a niche. I don't know what it is like now, but a few years back, the HDR had respectable p4p traffic during early afternoons. |

What about exchanging numbers and calling for service. Are the Ticas OK with that? Maybe you can make an appointment with someone the night before. Sometimes you just need to improvise, overcome and adapt
