Post subject:  Have you EVER had a Novia in Costa Rica?
Why would ANYBODY want to have a novia in Costa Rica? Mi amigo King Costa recently posted that we should all adopt a "No Novia" policy. I think he makes a lot of sense. However, after meeting Super K on my last trip I am beginning to waver. My knees are wobbly and I am getting sucked back in. I am evaluating my options.

One thing that would help me would be the advice from those of you that HAVE had novias, so I was curious how many of you would own up to it, in an anonymous poll (above).

There are many reasons to have one:

1) The sex has GOT to be good or she would never even get a second date. So you have a guaranteed good time in the sack, no risks. She oviously hits your "sweet spot" in the looks department, so no need to look around further.

2) You have somebody that seems to care about you and makes you feel like a million bucks...not the same old "where you from...whats your name" experience of the Del Rey.

3) You must enjoy helping her, being special to her, and treating her like a real girl friend. (even if it is just temporary) Still kinda cool to walk arm in arm with a really hot latina.

BUT....there are LOTS of reasons to NOT have a novia:

1) They always get jealous and don't want you to screw other chicas. Why go to CR if you can't Phuck around.

2) They will always begin to cost you more....the longer you are with them. Sooner or later, they will have some emergencia!

3) Why have ONE when you can have a BUNCH. You can still have several favoritas without committing to just one....and have the same fun without the headaches.

4) If they work in the Del Rey, how do you know she is not developing multiple novios on the side. You don't, and she probably is.


Well...those are just my ideas. I admit I am wavering on this little spinner I met the last time and I don't want to make the same mistakes twice....so help a bruthah out!

ps: On the poll above, of course I am referring to your mongering life....not your real life back in the states.

I put myself in the 'no, but would consider it' group, but mainly because I LIVE here. If I still lived in the States, I would definitely not consider it wise, even with a non-hooker. As far as working girls go, if you can't be here to monitor the situation, there are going to be doubts no matter what the reality might be.

yes, I did novia once. but only once and I said NOMO. it was a real drag. first, we kinda ran out of things to do after a while, and worse, I had to watch my buddies hook up with some real hotties while I was stuck with the old lady. girlfriends are bad enough here at home. I don't need none of that when I'm in fantasyland!!

by total coincidence, I bumped into her this last trip after three years. damn those poor girls can suffer some serious weight gain. she called and called my room but thanks to the pres for giving outside calls a different ring. sorry M...

Define your terms. Do you mean what you call a novia or what most guys would call a girlfriend back in the states. Personally, I'd never consider a girl that is only with me for the money to be a real girlfriend. If you took away the money, whether in the form quid pro quo payments, "voluntary" but outright donations, shopping trips, braces or whatever, how long would these "novias" really stick around? Using my definition probably very few of the guys here who might refer to their regular BM girls as novias had REAL novias. I'd go as far as to say that having any real novio-novia relationship with a BM girl is, in nearly all cases, pure illusion. Relationships with non-pros are another matter, but even then, given the disparity in wealth between the US and CR, one can never really be certain how much the attraction of money and what it can buy plays into the relationship.

This poll should really ask something like the folllowing:
    1) How many guys have had a "novia" that they met at the BM or any similar place?
    2) How many of those guys think their relationship would pass the test of my definition?
    3) How many guys have what they believe to be a novia with a non-pro chica that they met under more normal circumstances?
    4) How many guys have had more than one of either type relationship?
Now, if you accept a looser definition of what constitutes a novia, this is still not a bad survey as guys who have experienced (or been victims) of a BM "romance" could still shed a lot of light on that type of relationship.

I indeed did notice the obvious knee wobble last time we spoke. Remember when you showed me the picture of the chica's Ch*ld, I told you another chica showed me the same picture an hour before. Rumor is that the Del Rey is selling pictures of cute K*ds to the chicas.... we had a good laugh.

How about the CONDITIONAL NOVIA concept. The conditional novia is a non working girl with modest income demands. You may pay her well after each session. Let us assume you spend 1/2 of your time with her each trip. Let's further assume she can average $400 to $500 per month due to your highly addictive propensity to return to CR 7 or 8 times each year.

OTHER CONDITIONS


1. Little if any phone or e mail contact during your absence.
2. No questions asked by either party on their activities.
( In other words, no Hire a Monger Spying)
You call the shots. In other words, low maintenance.

BENEFITS

1. Your time in CR is not monopolized by one chica.
2. You are free to hunt in the DR
3. You have the GFE you want
4. She is happy because the income you are providing is enough to
keep her out of the DR. Remember, I said she must have mondest
financial needs.
5. You have your guaranteed good time.

WORD OF CAUTION

I would not recommend trying this with an experienced DR chica. OK to try with a DR newbie or rookie. The key is her financial necessities.
Chances are if she really doesn't need the extra money, she would prefer to stay out of the DR for a number of reasons.

1. Family Stigma of being caught working there.
2. Stress of working there.
3. Risks of working there.

Just a newbie posting. Hell, I ain't even made it to San Jose for my first trip yet. (Oct 25th - Nov 4th). Been to Thailand & the PI before thuogh. My 2 cents worth is you have to remember what my grandfather told me years ago. No matter how pertty they are, and no matter how sweet they maybe, someplace, somewhere, there is a guy out there tired of putting up with her shit.
That said, I'm sure as long as you treat her nice like you have in your reports, she'll be good to you. But for me, they're like elephants. Everybody loves them, but ya for sure don't want to own one.

I almost always have a current novia in San Jose, because I love the game. I sometimes have two or three that I work from long-distance while I’m at home in the USA. I know that women in their early 20s do not really love old men in their late 50s, and I really don’t care. They tell me that they love me, and I let them think that I believe it. They think they are working me, but I am really working them. I take everything they have to give without buying a word of their bullshit—while they actually think they are hustling me. In my humble opinion, working novias is much more cost-effective than paying by the hour. Also, it’s just fun. I get to pretend that I am a young man in love, and they actually think are setting me up for the big score. The key is to always remain cognizant of the fact that she is the whore, and you are the man with money who is running the show.

Aurelio: Great post and I think you nailed it. It is important to take charge and keep charge. Where I screwed up on my last experience I allowed her to get the upper hand at times. No mas for me.

I do like your idea of using them as much as they are using you. As you stated so well, it really is not natural for this young hot babe to fall in love with us....but they do such a great job of acting the part. We kinda like that...and play along. As long as we don't slip into that burning ring of fire and really fall for her, we should be OK. I like the idea of milking it when you are there, with the freedom to run around when you get the urge....and walk away when it gets boring....or she gets too demanding.

Well, that is the part I might have a hard time with. One of my reasons for maintaining the relationship during the two months I am away is to feed that addiction. I enjoy extending the experiening in between trips, having a little phone sex or close to it...and practicing my spanish. I have gotten much better thanks to these phone chats. I found it fascinating that out of the 49 votes cast, only 5 said they would never consider it. I figured that would be much higher.

Here is why I think that most of the mongers said they have had one...or would consider it if the right chica came along: Many of us have the "pretty woman" syndrome. For many of us, sex may be the most important thing, but it is not the only thing. Most of us really LOVE latina chicas....I mean why else go to CR all the time. Most of us love their sweet attitudes, their hot blooded passion, the way they dance, the open attitude toward sex....the darker skin. They rock our world. Why not consider that someday, maybe lightning will stike. It is unlikely that it will last....but for a brief moment you can consider the possibilities.

While I was surprised at the number of mongers that say they have already had at least one novia...I also know there are alot of experienced mongers on this board that have helped advise me on the do's and don'ts, so many of you have learned by experience.

For me, extending the relationship seems to be important to me. I have stayed in touch with Super K, my hot spinner from my last trip, because I only saw her for two days and wanted to get to know her. I also use the chats to improve my spanish, so it is almost like a free professora de espaniol. And you never know when she is going to lapse into phone sex, and start talking about her "poooooooosy" again. She talks about her pu*sy as if it was her pet that she lets me borrow. Although when she said "my pu*sy is yours"...I got a real kick out of it. She is young, only 18, immature and seems to live life by the moment. Sometimes I wish I could do that. Maybe that is what attracts me to her like a moth to a flame.
