Imagine that, corruption at the presidential level in CR. Altho I have not kept an accurate count-how many of the previous presidents have been accused of corruption--no wonder the people are marching in the streets |

My atty was at the courthouse today when they brought Rodriguez in, handcuffed and in a paddy wagon. Throngs of people there throwing insults at him as he was escorted in...and apparently he fainted...or at least feigned a faint  . I hope he gets all he deserves...and that they build a prison big enough for all the other political crooks and cronies to be thrown into with him. These guys have raped and pillaged this country long enough.

Practically the whole cabinet has resigned in disgrace. The last three presidents have been exposed for theft from the Social Security System or accepting kickbacks from the French company that has the contract for cellphones. Just a few months ago, CR was so proud to have the first Central American elected head of the Organization of American States (OAS), and now he has resigned in disgrace. I thought it was bad when the Catholic Church hired a hitman to murder a disc jockey for criticizing the Church’s policy on family planning, but this shit is getting even deeper. (By the way, murder contract was carried out.) The oligarchy and the Church have worked hand-in-hand to keep the rich people rich and the poor people poor for 500 years, but the chickens are finally coming home to roost. |
