"sexually repressed" is too mild of a phrase to describe the US.

Dennis Hof is a CRT member. Hopefully he didn't mention this site by name, as that would be publicity not needed.

Agreed 100%. American women have done an excellent job playing on and playing up some guilt thing in American men. In large part that forces men to the margins of their sexuality. Nothing excuses paedophila or non-consensual brutality OTOH no castration is worse than the one we do to ourselves.

At the heart of human sexuality, at least human sexuality involving men, lies what Freud identified in Totem and Taboo as "emotional ambivalence" - the simultaneous love and hate of the object of one's sexual affection. From that ambivalence, springs the aggressive, hostile, and humiliating components of male sexual arousal. Pleasure and displeasure wrap around each other like two snakes.

One of the most punishing realities women face when they reach sexual maturity is that their maturity is (at least to many men) unsexy. Indeed, we now have an entire genre of online smut politely called “Lolita Porn.” This is not actual Ch*ld pornography, a genre still blessedly beyond the reach of the casual Web browser. But nor is it porn in the Barely Legal tradition of women in their early 20s, tan and taut in pigtails, playing babysitters or high-school cheerleaders. (They might toss off a “Gee, mister!” to reinforce the fantasy, but only a desperate fool would accept this as truth.) Instead, Lolita Porn features girls who are 18 or older but look like 14-year-olds. They’re pale, long-limbed girls, with pears for breasts, small pink flecks for nipples (in itself a sub-genre of online porn: Tiny Titties), and a hairless, nearly invisible pubic slit.

The mass distribution of such genres of Internet porn and their hard-core depictions of sex with the steady theme of humiliation have thrown current-day feminists into a scramble. The new neo-feminists (it’s difficult to keep track of whatever wave the current “movement” is riding) argue that the primary obstacle to women’s gaining greater equality in the political and economic sphere is today’s “hypersexuality,” and specifically the spread of online porn. This is a somewhat new take on an old position. In the 1970s, second-wave feminists embraced an anti-porn militancy (a position closely identified with Andrea Dworkin). But that view was discredited by a new group of feminists who took up the mantra “Feminism means choice”—specifically, choice of lifestyle. Sex workers, strippers, corporate executives, and housewives, so the thinking went, all held the right to be liberated, “sex-positive,” and even enthusiastic consumers of (pre-digital) porn.

What makes Bernardo Bertolucci’s Last Tango so devastating and resonant is not the sex acts, for which the movie is often remembered, but rather the common but annihilating emotions that fuel them: desperation and loneliness. It’s the clash between vulnerability and indifference that transpires after sex that is so savage. This is what Kael called “realism with the terror of actual experience.” The most frightening truths about sex rarely exist in the physical, but instead live in the intangible yet indelible wounds created in the psyche. Go try to find that on the Internet

Brother Steven1--What was said was important but attribution before the fact would have been welcomed and more forthright. Appreciate the access to the magazine though.

How is it that the US is sexually repressed? By what standard?

Post subject:  Re: Yet ANOTHER reminder of why we go...

I would say the US is sexually repressed as compared to the rest of the world. The "bible belt" of Victorian "principles" has a lot to do with it.

In the USA, women do everything possible to hide their sexuality. Don't think so? Just compare female news people and their dress in Latin America as opposed to the US. Compare office attire in the US and here.

As US men have been programed to expect less and less physical attraction in their partners they have also been programed to think that women behaving as men is normal. Femininity is dead in the US and they are paying the price for it.

I love the quote in brother Senordos' signature line...

"Sex with Gringas in the U.S. is like modern art. Most of it is pretty bad, and the good stuff is out of your price range."

The backlash against the Feminazis is in full swing in the US... Every single man I know will not consider a LTR with an Americanized woman... The only successful marriages in my circle of friends are either immigrants or the American man imported from somewhere else... Then there are the poor bastards that are already ensnared by a great white whale, with 2.3 K*ds, white picket fence and more debt than some 3rd world countries, quietly biding his time until they are led to the slaughter... For some, it would be a relief...

sexually repressed seems a bit over the top.

the US is the world's number 1 producer of porn. no other country comes close.
women in the US, if they like you, will Phuck you silly before the 4th date.
many parts of california are loaded with AMP (asian massage parlors) that offer absolutely everything.
nevada has the same and a little more.
i've been to TX a few times and while driving on the interstate, i see huge porn shop signs every few miles
my brother lives in West Virginia and has no problem finding a strip club .... WEST VIRGINIA!!!
i lived in Colorado and had no problem finding strip clubs
the US was the first to make the internet a porn heaven... a lot of countries block porn.
in the summer, i love going down town, drink coffee while the girl walk by with hardly anything on

i could go on and on.

you guys upset that US women won't Phuck you on the first date? do you think latin women Phuck every guy they go to dinner with? do you thiink latin, chinese, korean, russian women Phuck fat ugly old men in their own country if she isn't a hooker? do you think they lift their skirts for a quickie on the bus to just anyone on the way to work... here, Phuck me, i'm not repressed the women say.

REPRESSIVE? I don't get it.

any mongers here tried phucking women who aren't hookers in costa rica? you know, those slight over weight women that had a K*D or 2 and are a few year younger that you? did her clothes just melt off of her body because her are american?

do you see 60 year old latin men arm in arm in 25 year olds in costa rica or anywhere else if SHE isn't a hooker?

i think you might want to look for another word.... repressive doesn't cut it.

i suggest going to costa rica, asia, brazil, DR or any other place that has cheap whores and just have a good time or stay home and do the same however you'll pay more. it is available in the US. maybe not in the same exact way, but it is available (this is the case in many countries actually, it isn't open, not in your face, but available).

the truth about mongers is that once a hardcore monger travel is restricted to cheap 3rd world countries so you have no idea what is going on in other countries.

Strongly suggest you get used to it. Believe it or not, you're right around the corner from being referred to as that "....little old man....", if it hasn't already started.....and you're just not aware of it....

Oh....and those countries you named....the one's I've been in and out of since 1976 or so? Czech, Russia, Ukraine, Brazil, etc., etc., etc., etc.? That is, for all intents and purposes, The Ghetto. The Kiwi's are a curious lot. Consider that perhaps you just got lucky and apppreciate it happened.

Trust me....the day is coming......"There goes that gross little old man."!!! Welcome Aboard! Have the ducats to cut it? That's what it is going to take because that is what it is all about once you submit to P4P as a lifestyle..... hahahahahahahahahhahahahahaa 8) 8)  :P

It is hard to compare the US to other countries sexually when your experiences in the other countries are with hookers. Attractive people in the US are having plenty of sex and fairly easily as is the case in most of the world. As a 40 year old single man here in Orlando, I am quite happy with the ease of getting hot 22 years old and up women to sleep with me. If you have some game and are fit ( a big plus) I don't see the sexual repression everyone mentions. Just because YOU don't get laid doesn't mean that no one is. Just my two cents on this. Of course, going to Costa Rica alllows us to sleep with as many women as we can handle every day without any word whatsoever and that is the appeal of it to me.

In the USA a girl will "test drive" as you say, for 3 or 4 dates, and if you're worthy you might take her home. In New Zealand, Ukraine, Brazil, etc. it is super-easy to simply go out to a non-p4p venue and hook up for the night, even with a girl half my age.

just so happens i'm very good friends with a brazilian here in CA - we are the best of friends. I've sent your opinion of brazilian women to her and if she takes the time to respond I will post her response. My friend is 43, she has a 23 year old beautiful niece too. I do know without even asking that she would not want her niece phucking or touching any 43 year old man. You see, her niece is well educated, working a job now while working on a masters. I don't think her niece is looking at 43 year olds from the "hey baby, i buy you dinner, a few drinks and then you can Phuck me all night long" POV. The impression I get when talking to my friend is that young brazilian women outside of the p4p world are shy and conservative, but you seem to suggest they just can't wait to have another dick... just flag them down, lunch, conversation, go clubbing, and hot sex all night long. amazing. So why the need for a p4p world in brazil?

Srilm wrote:
I can sit in the outdoor seating area of the Slavutich pub in Kyiv and flag down the hottest girl that walks by, buy her lunch, take her out to a club, and wake up next to her the next morning. All non-p4p.

I'm curious about the etc. and the flag down parts. what's your opinion of non-pros in England, France, Germany, Spain, Canada, Japan, Korea, Italy? What do you think their attitude is toward their own countrymen.... flag them down, ask them if they'd like dinner and a few drinks then off to bed with them? Is it that easy in those countries as well?

i lived in Europe for 5 years and I know non pros are the same there as they are in the USA. i might get some because they are infatuated with a foreigner, but other than that, I had to work my way into their pants just like any American woman.

in the Hotel Ukraina in Moscow there is a bar off the lobby. There is no door, just about a 10-foot wide opening that you can see directly through into the bar from the check-in desk. It's a fully functioning strip club after 8pm at night. This is not a monger hotel. It's an upscale, elegant hotel that caters to western tourists and business-people. This is common in other hotels around the world as well.

caters to westerns so not a hotel for regular homeland folks, strip club after 8pm and you don't think it is a mongering hotel. Really? the strippers on the stage and the other women that frequent the bar after 8pm are there for what, just a good time? The women's attitude is "buy me a couple drinks and i'll Phuck you all night all in your room for nothing?" Really? You serious?

what makes this a confusing conversation is that i'm not sure you are saying non p4p are super easy to everyone including their own countrymen or to the foreigner who is flagging them down for lunch, club visit and then hot sex at the end of the night.

Foreigner or countrymen, if getting laid were so easy with non-p4p types in these countries you speak of why in the Phuck is there a p4p industry? It makes no sense.

i have friends outsides of the p4p world (male friends) and they never come home saying the trip was so great because phucking anything they wanted to Phuck was so easy. it is only when monger speak of these places that supposedly pu*sy is like "take your pick."

okay, i'm done. i don't think the US is sexually repressed at all. i just think most american men aren't rich enough to get the same in the USA as they get in countries where the dollar buys a lot more than it buys for them here in america. if i gave "Srlim" 2 million dollars, and a car that cost 400,000 dollars, i doubt you would be thinking the US is sexually repressed. After one trip to a vegas strip club that officially isn't a p4p club, you'd have no problem leaving with one of those hot 19 year olds that dance in the clubs there.

Seems to me you just need more income and then that "repressive" thing would be a thing in the past.

Exactly! Rich people in the USA would not see it as repressed at all. Here it is all "what can you do for me?" You have enough cash? The sex thing becomes a non-issue. The USA is all about repressed, illegal, have-enough-cash, sex.

srilm is worth far more than 2 million dollars (and here are the cars: viewtopic.php?f=1&t=14468&p=398992&hilit=f430#p398992 -- just added a mclaren) and he thinks vegas strip clubs are some of the worst on the planet -- phony girls, lackluster performance, abysmal personalities -- i live in san diego and go to vegas at least once a month. The 19-year-olds in the non-p4p clubs there are worthless. This is exactly the point I'm making -- in the USA you NEED that 2 mil and $400K car to think the USA is not sexually repressed. You can't just be a decent human being and be swarmed by 20-somethings for that, unlike many other countries.
