Quote:
The pending release of the reglamentos clarify several aspects of the law, including confusion relating to the renewal of tourist visas. Under the new law, tourists are allowed to renew their visa without leaving the country. Yet a tourist can never stay longer than 90 days. The change is meant to benefit residents of countries who only receive 30 days upon initial entry into Costa Rica.

Looks like the $100 on-site renewal is only for those given 30 days stamps.

The article does not shed much light on what the regulations are going to be and really it can not.The article only touched on two of the many regulations that will be part of the immigration bill. The proposed regulations are drafted but Dona Laura can change them if she wishes.

Wisdom hath builded her house, she hath hewn out her seven pillars.

now, can't figure out if our resident scholar has been reading the Good Book or the works of T.E. Lawrence

I loved you, so I drew these tides of men into my hands
and wrote my will across the sky in stars
To gain you Freedom, the seven-pillared worthy house,
that your eyes might be shining for me
When I came.

or,an obscure and out of print work by L.Cargill, author of other works such as Face (down drunk) in the Falls, She Who Watches (the clock), Volcano (as in 'spewing'), The Louvered Window (busted all too hell), River of No Return (as in rivers of excreted pinto bean logs), The Oldest (little darling) House.

In any event, yes, the best lines of CRT are often penned by Brother Greengo.
