I never pay up front so I don't have problems with the girls skipping out early. However I find that their cell phones going off during our passionate time together extermely annoying. I don't even mind giving them taxi money but the next week when I arrive I am going to insist the cell phones are turned off when they enter the room. How do the rest of you guys handle this?

That cell phone baloney comes up alot in the south florida chat boards.

If the phone goes off she must turn it off after answering it the first time, otherwise she is Non-GFE.

I've turned the damns thing off myself hey it's fun to be The Man once in awhile.

Good point Goal. I request they put it on vibrate before we get to the room. If it goes off, and they answer, I let them know I'm pissed and will not tolerate that happening a second time. If it happens again, I will ask them to leave. In most cases, they will turn off the phone.

Yea...I have had them shut off before coming to my room etc. And yes, I once went to the extreme of canceling the session and getting the gal out of my room sans $$.

It goes even further though...the world is being taken over by the demand for instant access. It bothers me in business when in the middle of a meeting phones ring and are answered mid sentence. Maybe I'm old fashioned, but to me this is extreme bad manners. If I am waiting for an important call, I always explain to whomever I'm meeting that I'm waiting for a call and ask if it is alright to answer. I used to think Americans were bad at this...until i started doing biz in LatAm. It's sometimes a hilarity to try and carry on a multiway meeting with multiple phones going off constantly...but usually its just plain ludicous and rude.

What is voice mail for anyhow :?: :?: :?:

I always tell them to turn off the cell. Plus, my remote control is hidden, I don't need distractions. We're paying for the hour, (or whatever), we should dictate the rules.

I never thought I would say this, but the French did
something right, when it comes to cell phones and
movie theaters, they block the cell phone signals.
Now, if we can just come up with a way for the
Presidente to get one of those zappers for the
front and rear entrance we would be set.
I have currently only had this problem with the
cell phone going off once, this was the first night
with my Columbian friend in Jaco, after she answered
the phone, talked for like two minutes, she hung up
and put the phone down, I pointed at the phone and
said...OFF...she turned it off right away...no more problem.
Of course the first thing she did the next morning was
check her voice mail, but what the hell, she's got to
make a living.

I don't know about you guys but if I was on top of her and the cell phone goes off....there ain't NO WAY, NO HOW, that she is going to get up from under me to answer that phone. She better have a blackbelt in KARATE to get me off of her.  They'll be Kung Fu fighting en la cama. :D :D

phucking Cell phones! They are the bane of modern man. With some people they have become an attachment to their head. You see them in the mall, airport or walking down a sidewalk talking to themselves.

Then there is the nitwit in the grocery store who calls the wife to ask her what to buy for dinner. What a waste of technology.

They should be outlawed and banned from the earth. Especially during sex or when driving.

I was with one girl who wasn't going to answer hers but since we hadn't really gotten started I told her to answer it to prevent them from calling back.

BTW, did I ever mention I work on the billing system for a wireless communications provider?

I concur with Tman and Witling.

Many times when I've taken a chica to Jaco or Quepos, the cell phone
problem has come up. It seems like every few hours, day and night, they
are making or receiving calls from their friends, relatives and/or babysitter. I
really despise it during a meal, and of course sexual activity. More than once I've wanted to throw the damn phone into the ocean or pool. Since
I'm paying good money for their time and services, they should show more consideration. I suppose if they realized that it would affect
their compensation or tip, the situation might change somewhat.
