Anyone use Pacsafe or other similar security bags? Looking at the Pacsafe 100 for some travel where I will not have access to a safe. Thoughts? Opinions? |

I have a fanny pack and a backpack. The back pack has a good wire mesh sewn into the liner and a knife cannot cut through it. the securing cable is about 3/16" thick and you can put a good size lock on it. They are good for what they are a minor to medium deterrent against butthead ladrones, which 99% of the time is all you need. |

In reference to the Pac-Safe you are asking about, I have had one for 3 years and love it. It comes in handy when there is no room safe. It is Chica-Proof. The only consideration is to find something stationary to attach it to. I purchased mine through the website about 3 years ago. I have spoken to them on several occasions and purchased several other products. They are very helpful and I believe the husband's background is security. JazzboCR has given you good advice. If you have any other questions PM me. Be safe. |

yes yes yes and yes. I have more than several of their products and highly recommend. Take them with me all the time for peace of mind. Not all top hotels have safes. The Hotel De Pereira didn;t have a safe in my room since they were remodeling at the time and swear $60-$80 walked away from my ready cash stash (can't keep it all in the reception safe all the time). I especially love their wire mesh portable safe. It is light weight and can afix to many places. Won't stop a die hard thief but at least will deter most casual thieves. |
