Post subject:  Problem opening CRT announcements?

Is anybody else having problems opening the CRT announcements (like the SB announcement link below)?

When I do it (from both my work and home computers), a new window opens and looks like it's opening, but nothing ever comes up. I just get the little bars at the bottom. And no Paco, I'm not on dial-up. My download speed is 94.9 Mbps ( 8) ) at work and at home it's 15-20 Mb, so it's not a question of bandwidth or speed.

And what's worse, the IE stalls and I have to shut it down and reopen. One PC is Win 7, the other is XP. Same issue on both.

It opened for me at work. I don't know about our bandwidth or speed, but I think we have a can & string.

Happy Holidays to all.............

It opened just fine for me and I am using a Verizon Wireless modem (the equivalent of dial-up). Maybe it's some conflict with IE--try downloading and using Comodo Dragon or the Google Chrome browser to access.

Delete your temporary internet files in IE.

A good tool to do this is a program called CCleaner, available for free from Download.com. Here's a link (also available from the linked list is CCEnhancer, an add-on that adds 270 other programs CCleaner can deal with):

BTW, this program works with all Windows versions and all browsers. Nice tool to have and use once a week or so.

Not doing a smackdown on anyone but you Brothers could really benefit from the browser Comodo Dragon. One of the largest IT security firms has given us a strengthened Google Chrome browser FOR FREE. Not a lot of bells & whistles, stripped down to get you to the Web fast! Download.com has it for download. Definitely worth investigating especially those on netbooks with their naturally-crippled speeds.

Should be no issues that I'm aware.. Orange remember it does "OPEN A NEW WINDOW" equivalent to some browsers like a POP UP so make sure your browser settings and security settings allow Pop ups to CRT that should solve your issue.

Then again I'm a Firefox Guy and never looked back.
