Can I switch a CDMA phone to a different CDMA service? In more detail, I would like to use an Alltel phone with my Metropcs service. Is that possible? If not, how come?

No, the phones can only be used on the network that gave/sold it to you.

BTW-this has NOTHING to do with "General Information & Announcements On Costa Rica!" :idea:
