I'd like to say hi to everyone. I joined the forum a few weeks ago and have been lurking and searching since then. But time for my first post. I've been mongering in Thailand for years, but in less than 2 weeks I will be making my first trip to CR. In reading all of the previous posts I can see a lot of mongering parrallels with Thailand, so I think I can avoid a lot of the newbie mistakes. Actually, to be honest, making mistakes is part of the experience and helps appreciate the good experiences. But there are some things are still not clear to me. In Thailand there are two basic arrangements, long time (all night) and short time (one pop). Both arrangements have pretty stand pricing and hard negotiations are not the norm. It seems in CR, pricing and times vary, and negotiations are the norm, correct?. Mosts of the posts I've read seem to relate to the short time approach, as does the pricing. So could someone help me understand how common it is for girls to agree to staying all night and what the normal price range might be. If there is a previous post that covers this, I'm sorry could not find it. |

Hello Bonker; I'm not expert, but can offer some information on the difference between Thailand and Costa Rica. In Thailand, as you know, you have the "bar fine" system, in Costa Rica you do not. Based on my limited experience with Costa Rica, the majority of the encounters are short time (1 to 2 hours), though you can negotiate for long time at a higher of course (for the most part). You won't find any soapies in Costa Rica, at least I haven't, those sure are fun though aren't they. The price ranges of course vary, but a general rule around here, don't pay cien ($100) for a short time. My negotiating skills may not be as good as allot of the other members of this board, but I would think as a general rule, between $50 and $75 per short time would be a fair estimate. Long time rates of course vary by how "hungry" the lady is, and of course your negotiating skills. I suspect that a good guess would be between $100 and $200 for a long time rate, though others can give you a more accurate estimate. One of the better areas you will find price wise for short time are at the various MPs. Anywhere from $25 to $50 an hour I think would be normal. Best of luck. ShyOne |

during the rainy season, it's a buyers market. I have never paid more than 45$ and usually my top price is about 15 thousand colones. If the girl you are talking to doesn't want your money, somebody else does, believe me. I have only had a very few refuse 15 thousand. As far as the massage parlors etc go, you can get decent sex for from 18 dollars up to over 50. I am a bargain hunter, myself, and love getting a good deal on a chica with a good attitude. If they will do you for 15 thousand colones, they would probably stay the night for another 15, I suspect. But usually I am ready for them to leave after an hour. Good luck, have fun. |

As was said it depends on the competition, the quality of the girl, and the time desired, as well as your level of lust. During the day or relatively slow times in the BM you should be able to get a quality hour for $40 or less, 17600 to 20000 colones. For two or more hours they will ask for more, in the $100.00 range but I have had them agree for all night for $100.00 also. If you really like the girl, the longer the time the less the price per hour. I have ranged from $100.00 to $200.00 for 24/7 depending upon the girl, how much I liked her, and how many times per day for the deed in addition to other activities. Just remember that the chances are after a couple of days you will get bored and want fresh meat. I wouln't go $200 for 24/7 unless you really are into sex with the girl and want to do the double C*m 3 or more times per day. That takes honeymoon stamina or 20mg Levitra. Otherwise, for the long term guaranteed return, I think $100.00 per day plus expenses is adequate for 2 to 3 days of company to the beach, volcano, etc. It's a guaranteed return as opposed to hit or miss at the Del Rey with someone they might not even like. Just remember he who has the gold (that is you) controlls the deal. Have fun! Goetz |
