Read the small print. No more discounts for Seniors over 65? Unless you want a snack. I was there last year and one plate was a snack. I had two. This is not a buffet. It is a small plate. Is this for real? If so I will be shopping for a Thanksgiving dinner with all the trimmings. Very little trimmings at SL. Any Ideas?

Gentlemen,

There is no small print on the invitation. For hungry guys you will not go away unsatisfied. Senior or not, snack or not, 1/2 price or not, eat as much as you want per request. This was placed in effect mainly due to Tica gouging, requesting several plates many that found their way home (not in the estimated cost formula). Seahawk to you and any other seniors who accept our invitaion, I promise you will not go home hungry.

Thank You,

Bill

PS. Seniors between the age of 71-78.5 years will be forced to eat two pieces of pumpkin pie and 3 ceaser salads before being served your turkey dinner with mashed potatos, gravy, stuffing deviled eggs and cranberry sauce....no bending on this one!

Are you saying that Senior CRT members can have all they wish to eat at half price? I guess I could revise my post?

Where did the TICOs come from. Do they know what Thanksgiving is? Have they ever seen a Turkey? You should be like NEW FANTASY, charge them double.

The ticas are invited by Gringos mainly or family of staff. You will not go home hungry. They have seen Turkey now, this is a family event for some of our customers.

This sounds good. I get to SJO around 4pm so I figure I can probably make it around 6pm.

Well I for one, think that Turkey day at the SL is a lot of fun. I always meet up with some CRT guys and the day with football and PLENTY OF FOOD is something I look forward to. I'm over 65 and like to eat,so in the past I felt guilty paying 1/2 price. Other choices for those of you who want something different can go to the DR or the Colonial, and pay $25 and up to eat with people you don't know.

The food is excellent and has become a tradition for the expats living here. I have never seen anyone that was not over full by day's end. I hope to see everyone that is in town there next Thursday.

Happy Thanksgiving to ALL!

Already after 1st quarter Lions 7-3 over the Patriots....could it be a day of upsets?
