There are some inside jokes on this video. I know the guy who made it. Most have to do with the tjamigos website. The tripod reference is a board nickname for a particular member that is very short Asian guy and always gets drunk and into problems in Zona Norte, Tijuana. TJA board member Dick Army wrote a book on street girl negotiations. And yes, some members do carry this book with and use it when negotiating.
