 Post subject: CDMA phone

Could I put an unlocked cdma phone on a US cellular plan? I have U.S. Cellular and my contract is up in 1.5 moths and i HATE the phones they carry in store and like some of the unlocked cdma phones on ebay just want to no if i can put it on a plan?

Check with any Verizon dealer.

Also consider the #3 player in the game--Sprint. They feature pre-paid plans as well as contracts. Also remember that CR uses a different bandwith so you'll need a tri-band or quad-band phone to work both here and the US. "Search" here under quad-band for details

You need an unlocked GSM phone that works on the 850Mhz band. The TDMA not to be confused with CDMA is an older analog frequency that is being phased out. CDMA will not work.
