After hearing of many ghost stories from places like the Key Largo, Del Rey and most recently El Castillo room 11. I thought that I would post about La Segua. Probably the most famous of all. Be careful guys. Read the link........

From the link:

The warning is clear: men should stay away not only from heavy drinking, but most importantly, from attractive lonely women who can tempt them away from their family life.

I can see why this legend isn't associated with SJ, that ghost chick would be exhausted.

I'm more interested to hear what stories you've heard about the Del Rey, KL & Castillo. How about posting those?

At Castillo guests have notice their toiletries missing then returned, strange drafts, strong feelings of a presence in room 11.

The girls at the Key Largo have told many about the ghost of a chica in the ladies room and they seem genuinely scared when talk about it.

The Del Rey has had more tragedies happen there than they would like to discuss. Suicides, overdoses, girls being abducted and murdered. Certain rooms that some the chicas will not step foot into because what had happened in that room.

These things really don't bother me but I have talked with some guys that said they will not step foot in the Del Rey again because of the deep sensation of pure evil they felt there.

The Key Largo and Castillo are converted older Mansions and these places tend to lend themselves to having spirits about.

Good story, Brother--thanks for sharing. Nice to get just a bit of authentic CR in the mix.

Thanks for that, DR Dave. I used to stay at Castillo every trip before discovering LA & never noticed anything odd there, although I don't think I ever stayed in room 11. I have noticed the feeling in the DR at times, although I put it down to having a similar negative vibe to strip clubs. I'm not sure I would classify it as evil so much as a focal point for negative energy as a result of what goes on there, which I'm sure no one has the complete story of.

Interesting to hear about the KL ghost, never heard that in all my trips. Think one of those ghost hunter shows would sponsor me to investigate?

Hmm....interesting:

Another tale, likely created by men, tells of a deadly bug called La Machaca. Once bitten by La Machaca, a young girl must have sex with a man within 24 hours to avoid death.

I've seen some pretty spooky providers at the DR.
