With 9.6% unemployment and about 17% real unemployment ... is this really a good idea? Not to mention the inconveience of finding a working girl in a strange U.S. city. |

as good as craigslist is, they will succumb to the inevitable greed and circle the drain with scam sites like yelp. what a shame. |

Yeah, you can't get rid of the oldest profession. That's fer shur. And Backpage was always more reliable. After the murder of the girl in Boston, and the subsequent self-bludgeoning slime ball wimping out, not to mention the CNN goody-two-shoes chick reporter implying it's all und***ge girls and pimps, it was just a matter of time before attorney's general around the country decided they had to show they do something for all that state pay (in states with double-digit unemployment). All it did for me was get me thinking how much I miss the two (18 and 20 y.o.) garotas I spent the summer with in Rio. It seems so odd there's a big ta-do about an end to a list of overpriced, uninspired American working girls. Who cares about Craig's List? Not me.... |

It goes to prove the old adage about what brings the attention of law enforcement upon a few harmless vices such as booze, babes and a little gambling: 1. Is it commercialized? 2. Is it conspicuous? 3. Has someone complained? Hopefully we all recognize the need to avoid conspicuous and commercialized behavior because that brings the complaints; Complaints bring the attention of pain-in-the-ass politicians who gleefully get the monkey off their back by feeding stories to the media and letting them do the dirty work. There are few people more motivated than an moral crusader seeking to justify their image of self-righteousness, no matter how hypocritical they really are in their secret lives such as Jimmy Swag*ert, who was perhaps the most infamous hypocrits, but there are hundreds of others. My sainted mother taught me to never trust a man with a B*ble under his arm whether or not said book was literally "The" book or carrying of said book was symbolic and metaphorical. |

Also Elliot Spitzer should be included on the hypocrite list along with Jimmy Swaggert. |
