Post subject:  Big Bill Serial Numbers
Can anyone tell me if there is still a problem with any of the 50 or 100 Dollar Bill serial numbers that the banks won't take. Last year there was a problem with the 50's or 100's starting with CB. I'll be arriving 8/4 and don't want to bring any cash I can't exchange. Thanks :D :D

Once again I don't understand Brothers who bring big cash when ATMs around town dispense at near parity--the HDR has 2 machines (one for colones, one for USD) with only a nominal transaction fee. I guess I could sorta understand it if you're an M-Man being ultra-stealthy and bootlegging cash out of town but otherwise...Those $100s with CB are toxic forever and 50's are darn hard to find change for. And nobody will accept any US currency that''s marked, stained or the least bit ripped (I was mortally embarrassed at Harry's Bar Poas this way).
